For those who haven't seen it, it's like the the movie The Day After where Kansas city gets nuked, though this one does it better with explaining the circumstances, takes place in Britain.

Anyways the reason I bring up predictive programming is because the whole nuclear war starts with Iran and it has a backdrop of slow escalation like we see now, movie starts off in March and by May/June the nukes fly

A movie much closer to current events is 'Countdown To Looking Glass'.

The players are different but the theme is very similar to current events.
