Capital was held in check for a while until post-WWII racial ideology neutralized the political left on questions of race and immigration. At that point, a coalition formed between right-wing business interests who wanted immigrants to increase their profits, and left-wing anti-white interests who wanted white genocide. And normie whites were simply too lazy and ignorant to fight back against these trends back in the 1960's and 70's, when it mattered most.
