I always preferred hanging out with friends at one of our homes, or going out to the beach or a park to drink. But even though they knew I found nightclubs miserable, they would regularly drag me to one and bitch that I was ruining their night when I'd had enough of the noise and bumping shoulders with strangers. Chain smoking outside in the designated smoking area to waste time wasn't so bad, could actually talk to random people and still be "at the club" listening to music and singing on occasion, but waking up the next day with the taste of death in my mouth wasn't fun. None of us ever went home with a girl from there anyway, just poorer and with a hangover. I did get a handjob on the dancefloor once, but I was too drunk to nut so they gave up after a while.
