And if you have made it through school and into a university course, or even graduated uni and moved into a professional career, then you almost certainly do not have ADHD. The adults seeking diagnosis are just trying to compete in a playing field where the new bar of performance has been set by amphetamine abuse.

But that said, I am at my happiest, most productive, and most generally comfortable when I can maintain something closer to around a 28 maybe 32 hour day, followed by like a 12 hour sleep. Sometimes with like an hour, hour and a half nap in the middle if I'm doing more physically straining activities.I spent a while working graveyard, and my first day on, and first day off were great because I could more or less maintain those hours.
