>After Vietnam's lawmakers unanimously elected Communist Party chief To Lam as the country's president, analysts are asking whether Vietnam aims to copy Chinese President Xi Jinping's political model.

That's a reductive take. Vietnam relies on China economically but has a number of disputes with them and generally leans towards the USA when it comes to foreign policy. Historically, Vietnam chose the USSR over China during the Vietnam war and China went so far as to invade Vietnam in 1979. In the late 80s when the Soviets were collapsing Vietnam began copying China's economic model.

because it's one of the few countries (maybe the only) that can actually copy the chinese model, and there is no other model out there for developing a country. this "model" being
>you don't have lobbies, political parties, or play pretend electoral cycles
>therefore you can enact long term policies for the common good
like, you're using the chinese model when you play any paradox game

Unbelievably based.

Things like this is necessary to prevent Vietnam from the fate of Ukraine. I really truly hope East Asia will never have another war again.

China is more like a country of nerds. They can't chimp out the same way as the southern jungles.
This is why if you ever see Chinese donghuas, they elevate the scholars and the alchemists as the hero class.

But they can defeat the mutts in technology.
What Vietnam needs to do right now as their first priority is to upgrade to Chinese 5G.
Their old 4G towers are compromised by israeli microchips and can be weaponised to track and assassinate targets.

I can't find anything about this

It's a long article
https://the88project.org/research/hanoi-is-planning-for-a-2nd-american-invasion-us-policy-heightening-tensions-and-fueling-repression
I misremembered the number. The article mentions 809 individuals were "neutralized" for supporting color revolution in Vietnam but there's no mention if they were killed or otherwise disappeared.

Just 25 days later the orange monkey started another war in west Asia.
The Vietnamese leadership is probably analysting all of this, including the colour revolution just before the war broke out.

What is more likely though is westerners trying to smuggle in starlink terminals into Vietnam, the same way Dutch diplomats tried to smuggle in starlink terminals to help israel.
The main danger will be culour revolutions remote controlled from starlink and the old compromised 4G towers.

Literally hoax document from a schizo anti-government NGO trying to make Vietnam look scary

Damn I guess they should've fucked off and not fucked with their country.
