Most likely they got a marketing guy practicing "internal marketing" aka "how do we attempt to make our employees to like us while also giving them nothing or even less money".I'm serious, this is pretty much what happens when a marketing guy doesn't want to get fired, and instead tries to become buddies with HR or Management by finding ways for employees to be "more productive" while also trying to do this without resorting to giving bonuses or other tangible rewards away.Other shit includes: giving away company merch worth less than 30 bucks a piece (there is a chance they will charge you for it as well), making employees to waste time with afterwork motivational speeches of 1-3 hours (they might be mandatory), and finding weird mnemetic ways to make you like the company like a cultist instead of like a worker.
