It is worse than high school. It literally portrays the social dynamics of a 1940s labour camp and the power structures that form among prisoners. The managers in said environment are usually internal promoted from being on the phones themselves and are some of the most socio-pathic, controlling freaks I have ever met. The weirdest part, they do it for not much more money. Once they are off the phones though, they will do anything to keep the status quo so they don't go back.
