>>533644006
Sadly this. As much as the Republicans have made a compelling case for why they can never be trusted with power again, the Democrats have a longstanding history of playing to lose because they are completely out of touch with what their own voters want. Frankly we are at the point where we need to dissolve both political parties and form new ones, with dividing lines and platforms that actually make some kind of fucking sense.

The problem isn't the parties, it's that your government is made up of mercenaries that are all for sale to foreign interests. Everywhere else it's called bribery & corruption, in the US you legalize it as lobbying.

And the GOP lost two races massively against Obama and only squeaked out a victory in the electoral college in 2016, with a candidate who repudiated Bush's legacy. Now the key demographics which supported the GOP throughout these elections (Silent Generation and Baby Boomers) are rapidly declining and Trump 2.0 is a worse version of Bush, hence he's completely hemorrhaged support with young people and independents, the groups you need to actually win elections.

Look at that mandate that Trump had, look at the political capital he had for his first 3 months. He had positive approval rating at almost 60% and he absolutely killed it with the Epstein debacle and then bombing Iran in 25.
That was the real end of MAGA and its transition into MIGA. If Trump had delivered even half of what was he was capable of, instead of the opposite that we got, then they'd have a 30 year coalition the likes of which we hadn't seen since the early-mid 20th century.

Yeah, the republicans who aren't pieces of shit are relentlessly attacked by Trump and his MIGA pals. They spent $100M in Texas to support fucking Cornyn over Paxton. They supported Graham over Dans. I'm starting to think maybe it should have. Actually, the big problem is that the Republican party has just been waiting out Trump since 2016. The actual establishment is a disgusting hodge-podge of neo-cons who have way more in common with the democrats than their voter base. Why has Trump had to use so many executive orders to try and get his agenda through? Because he and everyone else knows that the Republican controlled house and senate won't pass his agenda. I don't know why everyone pretends like this hasn't been happening for years. Donald Trump was TWICE handed a mandate. He took over the presidency with control over congress lying with Republicans. In his first term, he tried to kill the ACA and John McBraintumor gave him the Roman Emperor thumbs down literally while in congress and voting. He did it purely out of spite because he hated Trump and the fact that he had taken over the party. Remember when Trump tried to get a budget passed through his republican controlled congress multiple times in his first term, and they intentionally waited until the last possible minute after they had already lost the midterms, then they tossed together a budget, voted on it, and didn't even whip up enough support in their own party to pass it, leading to a 30+ day government shutdown in January into February once the Democrats from blue wave 1.0 were seated.?

This time around, sure it's a weaker grip on congress but the republicans could have passed any part of Trump's domestic policy if they wanted to and what have they done? Fuck all. Sat around on their hands waiting for him to go away so they can go back to peddling the likes of Ted Cruz or Lindsey Graham to national audiences. If the republican party had gotten fully on board with passing Trump's domestic agenda in 2016, things might have been different in 2020. Maybe not, but same for this time around. The party has completely abandoned him. They're just hoping to quietly get through it all so they can usher him away.

Work, who do you think recommends polling firms? Campaigns can choose to ignore certain firms and use others for their internal polling. It's lucrative and many pollsters can't survive without some party supporting them.
Also White House access generally gets you extra money because people will have particular questions or framing they want on the surveys.

Levin? Well, he is the face of MIGA, that's for sure. And it's where it should be, in the trash.
Perhaps we're reaching a point of universal jew hatred? Of course, yours is faked because you want to win an election for a party without a platform and to finally get the Orange Nigger.
And I'd have no problem with Democrats winning if they weren't so terrible at everything.
What is the Democrat platform again?
It's gotta be something like "We'll do and say anything and betray all our beliefs to win and what we'll do when we're elected is exact revenge on those who didn't vote for us"
That's what I've gathered anyway.

So Trump can tell news outlets to stop using accurate pollsters?
He can tell political figures to not use accurate polling?

You are an idiot.

You know what would have made voter even happier, because it has nearly universal support?(like 70% support)
Using tariff revenue to eliminate the income tax burden on 80% of the US population. They float these lofty ideas, but never bother to enact them.

No taxes on tips was pretty good.
ICE killed two fags and made them dead while deporting illegals.
Lower taxes in general would be nice, but last time he did that the Democrats that run my city decided they needed to retaliate by raining property taxes, which is odd because in 2025 Democrats learned that taxes are passed to the consumer via tariffs. And thankfully the no taxes on tips means that I don't have to pay any taxes on my gig job I have to work every weekend to pay the additional taxes applied to my mortgage.
Plus a lot of other good things that made Democraps seethe, despite them being univerally popular like the Big Beautiful Bill.

Also.
For 80% of the Country there is no , or next to no, tax burden.
The left has instituted a "progressive" tax policy that has the top 20% paying 80% of taxes.

Buddy, nobody voted for Trump to enact smalltime bullshit like no overtime tax.
They wanted no new wars, mass deportations, a better economy that promotes US industry and labor, and Trump delivered the opposite on all of it.
You want to talk about voter depression? Republicans are spearheading mass amnesty right now in congress and the House made 350k Haitians unremovable.
Insanity.
You can keep your fucking slaved-for income, I wanted real wins.

You don't get asspats for doing what they expect every nation to do, protect their sovereignty.
Trump should have been hammering through legislation in order to prevent democrats from ever threatening migrant warfare again, but he didn't pass anything not even the SAVE Act.
Now the borders will be porous in 28 again if not sooner.

>and 6-9 senate seats
You know absolutely fuck all about the races coming up. For those senate seats that are up this term the gop has a massive structural advantage. If they actually do lose the senate - which is still very much a longshot - it'll be by 1.

>Maybe Trump should have tried to PRIMARY these fuckers then instead of endorsing them.
Do you REALLY think it's so easy to get rid of those guys?
Trump was blamed for making the Republicans lose a senate seat during his first term I think for endorsing a too "radical" America-first guy that lost. It might have been "the right thing to do" but in real-world politics it did fuck all and it was a setback. I think he's been more risk-averse since then.
And maybe he's made mistakes, maybe he could have made the difference and make some people win sometimes. I'm just saying it's not fair to blame one guy for all of this. It's HARD to beat the establishment and Trump can't position himself in a way where he'll take the blame every time it goes wrong.
Trump's hold on the GOP has always been tenuous. During his first term the Republicans could have shutdown the impeachment proceedings at any time but they chose to keep it going even though everyone knew it was bogus. They wanted to keep the sword of Damocles swinging over his head.
I thought the Republicans were so hated and useless that Trump could have threatened to destroy them forever if they didn't go along with his agenda and it would have been good riddance desu, but that's not how things work. They just impeach him and make up charges and send him to jail for treason. They could have done that.

>massive structural advantage
No they don't.
Iowa is gone, Ohio is fucked, Georgia is fucked, Texas should be an easy win but isn't because they fucked up their redistricting, Florida shouldn't be close but is, Alaska is fucked, North Carolina is fucked, South Carolina shouldn't be close but is.
