Should I take the air traffic controller pill?
>>

Why would you?

to receive compensation

>Be ATC
>Dislike particular politician/billionaire
>'Accidentally' have a fuel and/or fire truck on the runway
Kind of surprising this doesn't happen more desu.
>>
>>533657752
You can't control the fuel trucks or fire trucks the atc can only deny them access.

Do you play Microsoft Flight Simulator 24? Are you subscribed to airforceproud95? Do you watch Air Disasters videos for fun? If no then no.

He said ATC not a pilot. ATC is actually difficult.

>we have to pay DEI hires ram planes into each other instead of having a computer direct traffic without errors

How is this not done with AI and a human overseer already? It's literally perfect for AI
>>
>>533658210
Yeah if he said pilot I'd just ask if his parents have the money for flight school.
>>
>>533656486
It seems like a genuinely cool job to have but having flown planes that's a lot more fun, I think I'd get bored of being stuck on the ground. Maybe ATC guys get to tag along on certain flights to get them off the desk every once in a while.

Youre probably too old, they dont hire anybody over 30 for that job, its the same across the country.

americans are obese 'tards

>>533656625
Not in the US no, but you can make relatively good money elsewhere. It's a shitty job though.

if you're young, yeah, go for it. you probably won't get into the program anyways. tons of people apply but most will not be accepted.

despite what the FAA says, there is no shortage, as they reject most who apply due to absurd "standards" they require. under 31, pass exam, pass medical qualifiers, and then it takes years to actually be a full-fledged ATC.

oh and you are mandated to retire by 53
>>
>>533658308
Yeah we really should have AI do this job so it can hallucinate a plane or obstacle and cause hundreds of fatal crashes every week
>b-but that's wha da ober seer for
You'd need every single ATC guy currently hired + more to tard wrangle the "AI"
>>
>>533658798
And yet, they seem to keep hiring niggers. Also, if OP is dedicated, he could always become an ATC trainer after 53 or even earlier.

median 94k starting is pretty good. can't drink though

Its looks like the most boring and stressful job ever, dreadful combination

It's a bit outdated but check to see if there's any vacancies for mission controllers. You might be able to go via airforce.
>>
>>533656486
Are you brown? (They only hires browns and blacks to be air traffic controllers. White men need not apply.)

It's a pretty difficult job for a variety of reasons. My brother applied for a testing program to become an ATC years ago and it was no joke, I skimmed some of his learning materials once or twice and the amount of knowledge you have to not only retain but be able to sift through and recall at a moments notice at any point was somewhat staggering. Just the training portion causes lots of people to burn out and rethink the career path. It makes sense because obviously once you're on the job you can not make any mistakes, ever, or people will probably die but still.
>>
>>533658869
>can't drink
The #1 health problem in aviation is the fact that to help cope with stress/decompress after work and actually get some sleep you can ONLY drink. For your entire working career you'll be completely barred from any THC/CBT products and many prescription drugs so you end up drinking the jewish poison. It's a huge problem.

Airforce ATC's washout rate is crazy high. Plus they don't exactly have the best track record lately either.

Literally this is why it should only be white men doing it. If a white man makes a mistake then it's likely a pretty big multi-factor error. But if it's some fat black lesbian, the bar is so much lower
