Reps shouldn't come from a specific district. The idea of people being deeply tied to a specific plot of land made sense in 1776 when most people never traveled more than 50 miles from where they were born and does not make sense in 2026 when everyone moves towns and across state lines all the time.States should get an amount of reps based on population and then reps get picked in order of popularity in one big statewide race. E.G., if a state earns 5 reps, then candidates all run in the same race and the top 5 get to be the reps.
