Cost of production: around $1k

Catapult-launched fixed-wing design: quick deployment from any flat surface, no complex launchers needed.

Autonomous terminal guidance: operator spots the target, the drone then independently homes in using onboard sensors, resisting jamming better than radio-controlled systems.


Performance: a small 0.8 kg high-explosive warhead for kinetic or proximity kills against reconnaissance/strike drones.

Fox-2 (Lys-2) uses AI for its terminal phase. An operator initially spots and designates the target via the drones nose camera. Then, onboard machine learning algorithms (AI-driven Igolka signal processor) take over: they automatically acquire, visually track the enemy drones signature, and guide the interceptor to impact, even if the control link is jammed.

Ukraine has similar interceptor called 'Sting'.
