Had a realisation about David that made me a bit sad. He was the living embodiment of “2 more weeks” and the conspiratorial mindset. His whole life was a defence mechanism against reality itself. Growing old, body and mind failing, living alone in isolation, no family or purpose, just the torturous grind.
