To me, a garden is meant to invite nature into your home so that you can enjoy it in comfort.Or you could do as your ancestors did and use to to grow fruits and vegetables, improving your diet and your health. You could also see it as an extension of your house’s aesthetics, arranging plants such that they complement the effect of your architecture. You could even turn it into a museum, collecting rare and unusual species and putting them on display for the pleasure of both you and your neighbors.Or, if you’re a boomer, you could kill everything there and leave it as a desert - taking some kind of sick pleasure in your total opposition to life itself.

>>533746194>no clover>no bushes>no trees>no hedgelemme guess 3 million dollars?
>>533746194Why would I want to invite rats and rabbits into my home? The grocery store is right there. If you let your yard turn into a jungle you are stealing money from everyone else on your block in the form of lower property values. Grow up and be a decent person
>>533746524Property taxes punish people for anything that raises the property value.
>>533746194yeah ok
>>533746524>If you let your yard turn into a jungle you are stealing money from everyone else on your block in the form of lower property values.I have not mowed my lawn in over 5 years
>>533746194>a gardenThat's a yard you retard.
>>533746939It is now after everything there has been killed and replaced with bare lawn
>>533746524Oy vey. What a Jewish thing to say.
Look, I don't think it's bad to farm, but I don't wanna farm. I'm not going to "suddenly farm" even though I think farming is good. Ok? I do get pissed about mass tree removal though. How hard is it to buy a ladder and a saw and maintain a few trees over the years? There are $500,000 houses in neighborhoods that actually make me feel on edge, just flat yard driveway yard driveway yard driveway yard driveway yard driveway... why dont these people have hedges or fences or, like, yard festures? How is it so expensive? Who sees that and thinks "woweee wow!!! :D"? Pic not quite related, as these places have existed for so long as I've lived or longer. I've seen places that were in development and thought, "someday this will look like a normal neighborhood when all the new trees flgrow in".... but NOPE, these places stay this way forever. They are in some kind of lockdown.
>>533746865Good. This is the way. It looks natural, saves energy and pisses off Jews like that guy.
The last time I tried to grow anything in my backyard it was destroyed by rabbits, squirrels and whatever else.
>>533747053And before that it was a cornfield sprayed with chemicals for 80 years what's your point?
>let native wildgrasses and trees grow freely in your yard>neighbors complain>let the endangered Warble's Birdtit into your yard>"Man,I would mow my lawn but I don't want to violate the Endangered Species Act..."

>>533747684Possums are the best. Tragically short lifespan, though.
>>533747684Possums are unironically one of the most beneficial wild animals out there.

>>533746194im not gonna lie thats one work of art of a lawn.
>>533747233It would be a shame if some asshole tossed seeds from endangered species into lawns and along fence lines as he walked by...
>>533746194A ton of boomers have gardens and interesting plants. Most of the time they have more lawn in the front than the back.
>>533746194You posted this exact same shit three days ago to get paid by the reply. Too bad it's off-topic. Bye!

OP is going to come back and discuss this important political topic with us this time, right?
OH NO IMAGINE NOT HAVING FUCKING DUMB ASS BUGS FLYING INTO FACE ALL THE FUCKING TIMETHIS PERFECTLY CLEAN AND TIDY FRONT YARD IS SO MISERABLEOH NOOOOOOOOO
I have a 5 acre front yard that I let grow over all year. I let horses out to graze once the grass is long enough to not make them sick and they keep it perfectly mowed. So instead of mowing once a week I’m picking up horse shit every day. But anyway I never get lightning bugs anymore either. Also don’t rake the leaves in the fall because lots of little critters supposedly need the leaves to survive the winter. I got a lot of gophers though, little fuckers
>>533746194I TRY TO MAKE MYSELF BELIEVE THAT PLANET EARTH TURNS SLOWLY
>>533746524Live in a jungle and be a horrible neigbor to tank the property value then buy it on the cheap and clean up for reselling
You get jeets pooing on it if you don’t put up a fence. Hungry Chinks hunting on your bird tables and lurking in the flowers.>Oy! Get off there you bloody chingchong.>I’m not there, I’m somewhere else being sneaky <feathers sticking out the corner of mouth>. Chinks & Poos, bad news. Get a fence. And a dog.
>>533750509Possums are immune to rabies dumbass.
I seed my front lawn with crimson clover every fall and right now in the spring it's blooming and looks awesome. I even saw some lady taking pics of the clover blooms lol. Probably never seen them before. My back lawn is just grass, I don't put poison down or anything since I have chickens. They eat most of the weeds back there but I do have a ton of sunflowers coming up from the bird seed I put out. Feels good man.
>>533746194>a garden is meant to invite nature
>>533746194My yard is made of sand, the only things that grow are patchy Bahiagrasses and sand spurs. The only "nature" growing from this yard is weeds, annoying plants that deposit hitchhiker seeds on your pants, and sharp fucking demon seeds (sand spurs). Oh, but the insects? The precious insects? Fucking thousands of tiny biting gnats called "no-see-ums" that can bypass a traditional mosquito screen and their bites hurt like hell. You think we have regular house flies? No, we have Yellow Flies, which leave a welt the size of a baseball and their bites hurt even worse. Nature is fucking overrated, total human supremacy, total bug death
>>533746194then get a garden and do that. fuck nature. i gave my 70 year old neighbor a heart attack by doing donuts in my own front yard on a side by side. evidently she helped the previous owner (another old fuck) plant the lawn. i will buy her house if she dies (from her children who hate her) and do donuts on her lawn too. no fucks given.
Americans will never experience this
>>533751211>>533746194It is interesting this is getting spammed right at the start of record tick season, record Lyme diagnoses, within weeks of farmers finding boxes of ticks on their land, and right as Pfizer's new Lyme vaccine enters phase 3 and rollout next year
