Goodness. I think the average Westerner and pro-capitalist would have a Gorbachev moment looking at how prosperous China lives. It's time to admit Communism has won. Communism has helped lift more people out of poverty than any other system and has created homogeneous superpowers. Not boomer shareholder endless immigration capitalism that cannibalizes itself for profit, but high-trust high-IQ low-crime homogeneous prosperous society. How is it that we are struggling while Chinese live in communist utopia.

communism with chinese characteristics works due to capitalist aspects. chinas communism was failing until they embraced aspects of capitalism becoming something different in the process.

while the west went down the road of crony capitalism, fake political parties acting as deep state puppets, and getting dominated by globalist oligarchs via the world economic forum. the oligarchs became the state and the state controls the capital ie capitalism with communist elements.

China is communist. Every critical industry is owned by the state. Banks, land, communications, medicine, whatever. Just because you can buy a Labubu doesn’t make China capitalist. >>533747979
i didnt say china wasn't communist, i didnt say china was capitalist. i said china is communist with capitalist elements because pure communism doesn't work. you need to allow the market to set prices most of the time, people need to freely buy and sell, otherwise you end up with a weak and broken economy that can't dominate anything. central planners need the humility to admit they lack the competence to set all the prices and micromanage the logistics of a complex economy, they need to give up some power to decentralized markets.

>average middle class american makes 10k a month after taxes
no. even 10k/month before taxes puts you in the top 20% or so. The median income in the US is about 6,500/month before taxes.
If US rent was 1/8 median income like your Chinese numbers, then the median US rent would be about $800.

During communism:

>The Great Leap Forward (Second Five Year Plan) of the People's Republic of China (PRC) was an economic and social campaign led by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) from 1958 to 1962. CCP Chairman Mao Zedong launched the campaign to reconstruct the country from an agrarian economy into a communist society through the formation of people's communes.

>Millions of people died in China during the Great Leap, with estimates ranging from 15 to 55 million, making the Great Chinese Famine the largest or second-largest famine in human history.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Leap_Forward
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Chinese_Famine

After communism:

>The Communist Party authorities carried out the market reforms in two stages. The first stage, in the late 1970s and early 1980s, involved the de-collectivization of agriculture, the opening up of the country to foreign investment, and permission for entrepreneurs to start businesses. However, a large percentage of industries remained state-owned. The second stage of reform, in the late 1980s and 1990s, involved the privatization and contracting out of much state-owned industry. The 1985 lifting of price controls[7] was a major reform, and protectionist policies and regulations soon followed, although state monopolies in sectors such as banking and petroleum remained. In 2001, China joined the World Trade Organization (WTO). The private sector grew remarkably, accounting for as much as 70 percent of China's gross domestic product by 2005.[8] From 1978 until 2013, unprecedented growth occurred, with the economy increasing by 9.5% a year.

>In December 1978, eighteen of the local farmers, led by Yen Jingchang,[5] met in the largest house in the village. They agreed to break the law at the time by signing a secret agreement to divide the land, a local People's Commune, into family plots. Each plot was to be worked by an individual family who would turn over some of what they grew to the government and the collective whilst at the same time agreeing that they could keep the surplus for themselves. The villagers also agreed that should one of them be caught and sentenced to death that the other villagers would raise their children until they were eighteen years old.[5][6] At the time, the villagers were worried that another famine might strike the village after a particularly bad harvest and more people might die of hunger.[6]

>After this secret capitalist reform, Xiaogang village produced a harvest that was larger than the previous five years combined.[5] Per capita income in the village increase from 22 yuan to 400 yuan with grain output increasing to 90,000 kg in 1979.[6] This attracted significant attention from surrounding villages and before long the government in Beijing had found out. The villagers were fortunate in that at the time China had just changed leadership after Mao Zedong had died. The new leadership under Deng Xiaoping was looking for ways to reform China's economy and the discovery of Xiaogang's innovation was held up as a model to other villages across the country. This led to the abandonment of collectivised farming across China and a large increase in agricultural production. The secret signing of the contract in Xiaogang is widely regarded as the beginning of the period of rapid economic growth and industrialisation that mainland China has experienced in the thirty years since.

Communism lost.
Capitalism won.

>The first recorded incidence of private farming in post-Mao China occurred in Pengxi county of Sichuan province, in a village called “Nine Dragon Hill.” This village was one of the poorest in Qunli Commune, widely known in the region as a “village of beggars.” One evening in September 1976, Deng Tianyuan, the Party secretary of the commune, summoned a small group of cadres to discuss the problem of agricultural production. After a long and heated debate, they agreed to try private farming as a solution to the managerial and incentive problems that had dogged collective farming. Aware of the political risk, they decided to allocate only marginal land to households in two production teams, while keeping collective farming intact elsewhere. That year, the output of the marginal but privately cultivated land was three times higher than that of the collectively cultivated fertile land. The next year, more land was privatized in more production teams. By 1978, before the Third Plenum was held in Beijing, private farming was practiced across the whole commune, but was kept secret from the local authorities. In 1979, at a meeting organized by the county government to discuss improvements in agriculture, Deng Tienyuan disclosed the secret of Nine Dragon Hill’s success and won the endorsement of the county Party secretary. The following year, a delegation from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry visited Nine Dragon Hill. While he criticized private farming in principle, the head of the delegation praised Deng Tianyuan for improving agricultural production and even proposed considering the village as an experimental site for private farming. (Coase and Wang, pp. 46-47).

>Two years later in another village, also poor, privatization was secretly agreed on by eighteen peasants. It was sufficiently successful so that, as word of what they were doing spread, nearby villages joined in.
>>
>>533748357
Why using this specific example? Illegal privatization and decollectivization was already fairly common by 1975, to the point that administrative division leaders were aware of it and allowing it to happen because it was succesful.

>Wouldnt it suck if cars became worthless and everyone in america who has a car saw their money turn into nothing overnight
This would be great, because it would mean cars are very abundant, so that would decrease the overall cost of living. We shouldn't keep supply low just because a high supply would cause existing owners to lose unrealized value. That's retarded and would rapidly destroy your economy.
>it's bad because everyone who owns a home (which is everyone) is basically bagholding for evergreen (their version of blackrock)
If evergreen goes under, as long as those people still have their houses, then it doesn't matter.

In the tier 2 cities pay at work is 20 something chink bucks an hour and a room in an apartment is 800 or so chink bucks an hour. in america its the same, only difference is the exchange rate. so they make $3/hr and spend $120 on rent vs making $30/hr and spending $1200 on rent
Also their food prices are the exact same price as America's even though their wage is 1/10th as big

Sometimes you have to wonder if Communism was a way to murder millions of people under the pretense of collective farming grants power to the people.

Also, Communism in other parts of the world was great for the USA. No one could compete against the USA if everywhere else, there was no incentive to work harder, or smarter.

Printing money would make things worse, because it will inflate land prices, causing rent to go up, and by extension all COL. This is why the pandemic money printing fucked up houses so much.
On the other hand, if you actually produce more cars or housing, causing the price to go down, then that will improve the COL, even though existing owners lose some value.

Chinese have more disposable income than Americans when it comes to the amount of their paychecks left over and its relative buying power. They eat at restaurants almost every day, many eating out for every meal. It's something like this:
>Chinese average income $1200/month
>Chinese average rent $200/month
>Chinese average mortgage payment $100/month
>American average income $4200/month (don't believe other stats, they exclude part time workers and other trickery)
>American average rent $2300/month

What you said is a lie, you filthy little rat freak. You said
>70% of China's companies are state-owned.
That is a LIE. You're a lying piece of SHIT!

>Exactly 0.25% to 0.3% of China's total registered companies are wholly state-owned. If you expand the definition to include companies where the state holds any partial ownership stake, it rises to roughly 1.5%.

>Here is the exact data, the math, and the sources:

>Total Companies: There are approximately 58 million registered corporate enterprises in China (this excludes the ~125 million self-employed individuals/sole proprietorships).

>Source: China's State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR), which reported in mid-2024 that there were 55.18 million strictly private companies, accounting for roughly 95% to 96% of the corporate total.

>Wholly State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs): There are approximately 150,000 wholly state-owned enterprises in China (about 50,000 owned by the central government and 100,000 by local/provincial governments).

>The Math: 150,000 SOEs ÷ 58,000,000 total companies = ~0.26%.

>Partially State-Owned Enterprises: There are approximately 867,000 enterprises that have some degree of direct state ownership or state investment mixed in.

>The Math: 867,000 partially state-owned companies ÷ 58,000,000 total companies = ~1.49%.

>Home prices being cheap means you pay rent to richfag foreigners
?
Home prices being cheap means you can afford to buy a house yourself. I have no idea what you're saying.
>Try to ban it if you want
I personally don't want to ban it. I want land value taxes, where the revenue gets distributed equally as a dividend to all citizens. This would put land to its best use, which would massively increase the housing supply, decrease COL, improve business growth, and provide a basic income for everyone.
>>
>>533746314
This makes their already extremely low birth rate even worse. Owning their own houses and still having fewer births than urban whites...
>>
>>533749510
Birthrate is low because it's their only form of dissent against the system. All forms of criticism are banned. Even talk about "lying down" and not trying is banned.

IDK how you arrived at the jewish conclusion that home ownership translates to fertility rate suppression. Apples and oranges, people don't have kids HERE because nobody owns shit.

In China, it's because of "Tang Ping" (lay down flat), like Malay anon said.
>>
>>533749958
>home ownership translates to fertility rate suppression.
The opposite is true, and yet China has a lower birth rate than homeless, white urbanites. Which shows how deep-seated the birth rate crisis is.

>Do you think it's really worth it to go to mainland China vs just going to Taiwan
It depends on what you're after. Mainland is good to go to buy cheap things. Can get electronics and consumer goods for actual pennies, the infrastructure for a 3 month rental is there and easy if you speak a little chinese, can get a 3 month lease in a nice apartment in the city center for $110 or so in a cheap city
Also one of the cheapest for medical tourism
But you can also go visa free for two weeks or so, so that might be enough.

Taiwan is more shittier and undeveloped and its expensive compared to China. But it's better for having sex.

America is a communist country. Every critical industry is regulated to hell and back. You want to manufacture a car? A washing machine? A fucking toaster oven? Good luck obtaining the permits and meeting the federal regulation standard, not to mention a god damn domestic supply chain of raw material that, yet again, have been regulated out of business. You are a stupid, retarded, utterly clueless lemming that needs to be dunked in a vat of low regulated, easily procured and cost effective acid.

Pic related. The height of American free market capitalism.

China won.

It doesn't shove 80 IQ black people in China's face every single second of the day.
It doesn't give control of all its institutions to Zionist Jews.
It puts criminals in prison.

And... that's pretty much it. That's pretty much all it takes to not throw away a first world society. Just those three things.

>>533747979
That is clearly fascism. Communism = workers own the means of production. You think the Chinese workers in the factories are telling management how long they will work, what their wages will be, etc.?
The state directs the privates companies and manages all of that, just as it worked in Nazi Germany.
>>
It genuinely disturbs me that US citizens don't own land or homes outright. The UK is shit for so many reasons but at least I own my house and the land it sits on outright, and don't have to pay the government for the privilege of owning it.
>>
>>533758666
>It doesn't shove 80 IQ black people in China's face every single second of the day.
There's millions of blacks in Guangzhou. Communists love blacks.
>>
>>533758727
It is literally the reverse.
A lot of the properties in the UK are leasehold. The government owns them, but leases them out for 100 or 200 years or so.
The US has much more outright ownership than us. And our houses mostly suck, too.
