It's unironically good for him. I think he's been burnt out. I also heavily disagree with him on a lot of stuff now, and I get the sense that his own views internally are changing.

The guy has been focusing 100% on his show for the past 10 years with little forays into irl political organizing. While he has become a national, perhaps even globally known, public figure, he's still never had a girlfriend or really traveled that much or done a lot of stuff. And that's fine, but every man needs a break from his main focus for a little bit. Everyone needs a sabbatical and to clear their head.

The current political situation is so off the rails, that whether you're right wing or left wing or something else, it's hard to have a coherent analysis because everything is just so crazy.

I hope he's able to enjoy his time off and relax before things get even crazier

Groypers. What happened? It’s been days now. Where’s Nick, and when is he coming back? Is the movement over?

Without sounding too depressing, I think he realises Trump has irreversibly fucked things up for the right and is now enjoying life while he can, maybe scoping out places to live when the Dems take power in 2029 again, that kind of thing. MAGA is over, and the Dems won't allow AF to launch when they get their chance to exact their revenge in 2029.
