>beats Claude 4.6 Opus
>free if you have the hardware to run it yourself
>86% cheaper than Claude if you want to have a cloud provider run it for you
>the whole thing runs on Chinese AI chips
>but it can also run on Nvidia chips (consideration for western users)

It's over for Silicon Valley.

I don't care about AI. I won't use it. If it threatens me I will bomb the data centres. Simple.

U.S. and Israeli militaries are using A.I. to find targets and prioritize which ones to kill first. That tech is coming to the police next. U.S. and China are in tech competition to see who can have the fastest and most accurate A.I.-powered lethal drone swarms.
>>
normies underestimate the current capabilities of ai. coders/etc know what it can do. every time The West releases its latest greatest model China releases something better a week later for 90% cheaper and usually faster. The West is so over.

there are literally zoomers still going around saying "its just googling shit bro" when you'd think since they're young they'd know better

Wait so is AI a big deal or a nothing burger? I cant tell.

Damn, so many AI shills lately. You must be a shareholder or something, in for a quick buck, just like the crypto and NFT fags.

what are the chances that our own government is keeping gpu prices sky high (just as they do with houses) to keep regular people from using these free chink models?

It’s already threatening you, all of us. I love it though my job is basically just AI jockeying now. I’m basically NEET but make $200k/year. And my company has stopped hiring due to the productivity increase and last round of negotiations gave a huge increase to everyone instead. The ladder is being pulled up. I’ll be cozy until the chickens come home to roost

they do not understand how filesystems work and cannot even use bittorrent

they pay for porn because they are too dumb to get it free

do you understand how dumb it is that youhave to be to not be able to get free porn on the internet?

this is the result of Skibidi Toilet and gay frog chemicals

Deal with regex so human beings don't to? Incredible convenience but not attention they price of a gorillion dollars. Claude's comprehension of higher order problems is childish at best. The purpose of AI and the datacenters is a police state to keep the goyim inline as our standards of living fall through the subfloor.

AI cannot replace my job yet
I have tried it, every model going to Opus 4.7, and the end result is slop that does not do what I need it to do to the quality I need.

These context windows in AI don’t mean as much as people think because it is sort of like HDD storage as opposed to RAM which is the working memory. The problem is they can’t have working memory (RAM) match the context window (HDD) because the working memory requirements grow quadratically which overwhelms any server very quickly. This is why you could be having a long conversation with an LLM, even though it has a huge context window it will forget what you’ve talked about after a certain point before unless it searches back through all of its static storage.

I hope somebody in the admin is thinking about a special tariff and excise tax on GPUs, along with a refundable credit for American citizens on our federal income taxes to offset our own personal purchases. Perfectly happy to pass costs on and through the cloud providers who are consuming so many GPUs. For the present and near future, the VCs will be the ones who pick up the tab on such a tax.

Sorry that's an illegal opinion, a terminator is on its way to your house

Skill issue, genuinely. I’m not memeing you should take some basic courses in AI usage and try to integrate it into your workflow. I’m working some very large problems with many moving parts and varying context sizes and it handles it all pretty seamlessly. Took about a week of dedicated effort to get the system set up and now I can speak very naturally about what I want to achieve and it will develop a very sound plan. Things that would be roadmapped out 12+ months I can achieve in less than a month. The biggest blocker is other humans at this point doing manual change authorization reviews for some of the bigger initiatives.

I don’t think AI will runaway into a singularity. Categorically I think it isn’t possible. But it doesn’t need to do that to fuck up our entire society horrifically
>>
>>533754061
What do you mean took a week to get it set up? Like what are you setting up? I can't even get it to write an e-mail for me that doesn't sound cringe/unnatural

Every zoomer I work with + “gets everything wrong, bro.”
>>
>>533753079
The first few iterations of deepseek came out with all these bold claims but ended up being an absolute turd. Hallucinations 70% of the time and actually required more memory and processing power to produce anything useful.

>AI cannot replace my job yet
That's the wrong concern. Nobody where I work has been fired because of AI, but we definitely are hiring less. Rising unemployment plus stagnant wage growth plus rising prices will fracture society at the political seams.

And then there's the capability for governments to extend their reach. A squadron of surveillance drones with realtime data on everyone's cell phone location is far more efficient and way less expensive than street cops.

I wasn't taking about that kek, I was talking about the men who own the machines taking issue with you continuing to exist
