This is the 5th blackhawk helicopter I've seen today. I live an hour away from the nearest military installation. Is this happening near you? Is this normal?

I live near a small airport that's closed to civilians and is used as a stop between the lower states and Alaska. You can tell when things are active in the north from all the air traffic we get but lately its been quiet so I assume all air traffic is focused in the southern states. In a way you could say its happening. Just not up north. Have a random picture of the mountains my southern friend.
