Much-loved Brandon Parfitt, 28, was found hanged on August 19 last year in a wooded area of his hometown, Ebbw Vale in Blaenau Gwent. The factory worker, who had become a father around six weeks earlier, was described by his family as "a livewire with the most infectious smile". A Gwent coroners' court inquest found Mr Parfitt died by suicide with mental health issues given as an underlying cause. Use of cocaine, alcohol and the anti-anxiety drug diazepam were not given as a cause of death but did contribute to it.

The psychiatrist and psychologist told me to stop coming as they saw nothing they could do to help me change my mind about wanting to kms. They said I have no actual psychiatric issue or whatever and that I just have complex PTSD from shit life. Total waste of time and money going to them for several years and actually made my situation much worse.
