I've watched lots of videos of homeless people or formerly homeless people on youtube. The ones who aren't addicts just spend all day walking around. Seems like it's really boring and tiring.

I have. And I still do it. I have mobility through my motorcycle partially in the picture and then I just ride around to any town with a Walmart, set up shop with my laptop/phone out there all day and just NEET with the wifi eating food. Lay on the grass under a tree to rest. When I sleep I go find a state park and set up shop. It's not super interesting I live identically to a shut in gamer NEET more or less but outdoors because I'm in rural areas and there's really shit else to do here but sit at my computer or ride my motorcycle around. I'm probably going to head to a city soon and try that out but sleeping is a lot less easy and things cost more money at shitty delis than walmart. Gas is cheap on the bike so I can truly just aimlessly go anywhere with no thought on how I'll pay for it even in these times of high prices

Lived in a shelter for the first year and realized how dangerous it was and immediately nope’d tf out of that system and lived out on the streets using makeshift shelters out of boards, plywood. Mostly under bridges and MTA train lines (I’m in Manhattan if you haven’t guessed.) over the last 2 yrs however I’ve “upgraded” to a storage facility. 98$ a month for a 5x5 space. No one tells me anything or bothers me. I’ve got a bed, mini fridge my laptop, electricity and butane stove I use here. The only thing I don’t have is a shower (obviously). Not a problem though because I have a cheap planet fitness membership I use for showers (15$ a month). With my living expenses so low I can save a decent amount. I also work btw, not just bumming around, which is why I’ve been able to live in the storage facility for as long as I have without being kicked out. The whole sensor bullshit with the storage facility is overblown to scare you. They know homeless people live in their facility, they don’t care. How else are these facilities going to make money? Think about it.

Not very long ago during the coldest part of winter, there was a group of meth/fent junkies who tried to establish a hobo camp just down the road from my house in an old beat up minivan. They ran a drop cord from the van to the inside of a locked and gated city maintenance area to power up an electric heater. I allowed this to go on for three days while monitoring the situation. As it so happened, these lowlife shit bags were collecting stolen bicycles on the luggage rack on the roof and whatever else they could fit inside. This was all the justification that was necessary to begin a campaign of relentless harassment; which was kicked off with a face-to-face encounter with a literal homeless nigger faggot who was standing watch while they were out "dumpster diving." Bear mace was used to drive the nigger out of the neighborhood; afterwards, the power cord was cut and the extension cord stolen (so they couldn't repair it). They immediately moved their camp to the driveway of a meth whores house about a block away. My neighbors and I went in the middle of the night and stole every stolen bike they had in their possession (multiple trips back and forth to the meth house - cackling with laughter all the way). On the final trip, last two bikes, I fucked up and silhouette on the van windshield (street light in a adjoining parking lot). A short, shirtless, midget of a meth junkie comes out of the van and chases me barefoot as I ride away on his prized stolen and spray painted BMX bike (complete with a led light bar and a blue tooth speaker - both functional. There was no seat though but this only caught me off guard for a moment). >"I'll fucking kill you. That's MY BIKE!" I pedaled just enough to keep him chasing me for about 2 blocks before he gassed out on his cardio. It was so fucking hilarious.
