They are everywhere doing tourist activities in any city anywhere in the world even doing the most mundane or boring tours etc that they aren't even interested in, you'll find it filled with Chinese just partaking for the sake of it. Money is no big deal to them. A Chinese will pay out hundreds for example on doing some Jack the Ripper activities while in London even though they have no idea what it is. You'll find them doing Disney stuff even though they have no children. They just pay out on endless travelling and leisure just out of boredom it seems. You even find them in places like India, Brazil just doing random traveller stuff.You also never hear them complaining about gas prices, food prices, childcare costs, rent costs, inflation etc.I thought under communism everyone is poor and living like shit? yet the Chinese have plenty of loose cash to go all over the world indulging in whatever they want.

According to their doctrine, they are not practising communism. They're practising a managed kind of capitalism to produce the material conditions that must first be met in order to transition to communism. They're pursuing this goal and becoming rich in the process, although how much they really believe the doctrine is hard to say.Also a lot of the reason you don't hear complaints is because they live in an almost completely separate internet ecosystem. In reality they do complain about all you just mentioned. In fact on twitter I recently saw a video of people protesting in public over the price of food. The country is a lot more "normal" than you might imagine, and what you hear in the west is heavily sensationalised.
