Frankly, I have a hard time imagining Canada functioning in more than ten years. People are losing their jobs because of AI. Conversely, almost everyone I know works for the Canadian government or is under contract with it in some way. I live in a city where most of the people I encounter are white and of a certain age. I work in steel manufacturing and I wont go into detail but we seem to be busy for now. I can't predict whats coming but I think it's bad. I'm under no doubt my job can disappear due to AI. Most of my "colleagues" are neither white nor Canadian-born. Most seem to have arrived in Canada within the last five to ten years. They communicate with each other in broken English. They never want to sign their work since that would put their necks on the block and they wouldn't want to do that. I when drive to work I look at the other cars and I wonder what everyone does and if their job will be gone soon. Tl'dr we are in trouble.
On a side not I forgot to mention we as a society have no privacy anymore and it doesn't bother anyone. Which is sad and funny at the same time.
