>On a sunny day, a 600-800 watt system can supply up to 50% of a family's daily electricity consumption, particularly covering "baseload" usage such as refrigerators, routers, and standby devices.

Pretty cool. You can also use the flat roof of the this type of building for panels too.

>Decommission nuclear power plants
>Use solar panels inefficiently
>Buy Russian oil
What was supposed to impressive about all this?

Not starting a retarded war with iran

I'm pretty sure that wasn't a realistic option for Germany and I'm quite sure that a nuclear exchange between Iran and Israel would have been more disruptive to the German economy than the US economy but yeah, good job on not starting a war you weren't logistically capable of starting.

It's cool as passive energy. It's just a shame that a 100W solar panel costs around $50-60, making it not viable.

You're totally right, how could I be so foolish? Any reasonable person would risk their life for Uranium enrichment because they were just that concerned about having materials for medial imaging.

Today from around 12 to 4 I received around 30ct (after surcharges and taxes) for every kWh I consumed (all in all it was 50 to 60 kWh...).
If I had had solar on my roof, I would have gotten them for free.
So why should I invest in this, again?
