It doesn't even matter if 99% of people on there did this, even 1% of the remaining being false means at least 150 people are now having their name put on a site with serious condemnations that aren't true. The false allegation statistic with the police may just be because people don't want to risk lying to the police, and it's only proven false allegations with evidence and not just "we literally cannot prove or disprove this case". People still may not want to lie to the police. People lie to the internet all the time.
