How did our government lose the trust of its people so completely? Everyone I know assumes the assassination attempt is fake. People trust what Iran has to say about the war more than the USA. If a terrorist attack were to happen tomorrow, everyone would just assume Israel did it, even if they didn’t. What happened that created this massive disillusionment?

The leftist media is ever present and it is literally fake news. The people need to be disillusioned about leftist media, but they still think the Right's news is fake after there were some issues with that and Fox news about 20 to 25 years ago. The only true media I see is online at this point and not from big sources like Google news, MS news etc. On IG you can see a lot of truth about how Iranians hate the Islamic Republic, Irish are against their leftist government, Dutch are sick of the rampant immigrants etc. I think Zuckerberg is sick of the left as a Jew because they are anti-Israel and pro-terrorist at this point, so funnily enough you will see the truth on Meta products as well as other unusual news sources online.
