Today the Netherlands celebrate their annual Koningsdag (King's day). This includes wearing orange, and large parties and gatherings. AFAIK it's one of the largest public holidays they have.Let's all wish the Dutch a happy Koningsdag, and take this time to learn more about Dutch culture!
>>533974780they should invite orange-utan
>>533974780looks nice, have fun dutch anons
this country is packed like sardinesbut instead of sardines it's NIGGERS everywhere
Celebrating German culture? Isn’t that kinda racist? Like- that’s literally a racist dog whistle to say “I celebrate non-blacks and non-Jews” Just kinda excessively racist and self masturbatory desu
>>533974780Dank je wel buurman!ORANJE BOVEN!!>>533974980WE ARENT GERMAN YOU NIGGER
>>533974780SAY NO TO DYNASTIC PATRIOTISMVOLK EN VADERLAND
>>533974980They celebrate the jew lackey of a king's birthday and the usurping of power by overthrowing our Republic.
>>533975179
>>533975179How are you celebrating today? Do people gather in parks, grilling and drinking beer?>>533975395>>533975300I was wondering about that. Why celebrate the king's day instead of the day where the constitution was established or something similar?
>>533975738There are Dutch flags everywhere, everyone wears orange, there are festivals everywhere, there's a "vrijmarkt" (literal translation is free market" where people sell random shit they own on the street tax free
>>533975929that sounds comfy. we also have such markets, but a set day for doing them would be cool.
>>533975929>sell random poopey they own on the street tax freeThis is allowed on the whole planet, except for the West. Cannot escape Jewish control now can we
>>533974780Dutch are so cringe - always have to act like they are so different than Germans.
>>533976323Omdat wij geen Duitsers zijn. We kunnen elkaar niet eens verstaan als we allebij onze eigen talen spreken
>>533976448true, but i do get the gist of it. i suppose it's often that way with neighbors. nordics and slavs have the same too, after all.
>>533974780I was in Amsterstink for Koningsdag 2 years ago, it was pretty cool
>>533974780fuck them fish self-righteous fish eater
>>533974980Our royal family is more popular in our Caribbean nigger exclaves than in the Netherlands itself.
>>533976066Ever heard of eBay?Yeah we call it Marktplaats. The only somewhat sketchy thing to do is selling alcohol without a loicense. And here in Amsterdam they've actuality banned it this year, but that's because of public order not the illegal sale itself.
>>533974780King's day is a perfect spot to bag a Dutch lasst. knower and dutch lass aficionado
Question for dutch guys in this thread, Dutch people tend to hang out in friends groups with other Dutch people.I want to move to NL next year for work, but I am wondering what's the best way to meet a Dutch given given the above? I don't really know very much Dutch.
>>533977344Sorry, we're full.
>>533977344>I don't really know very much Dutch.Dont worry. Everyone speaks English there, or at least from what I've heard.
>>533975179Tell me about the first line of your national anthem.....
>>533977344>>533977516Most Dutch people can speak English, but will prefer speaking Dutch in their social lives so making friends without learning Dutch can be hard. Also Dutch people north of the Rhine river generally prefer to plan everything in agenda's including maintaining friendships lol. So I recommend joining clubs or sport where you share hobbys with other people and build your friendships off that
>>533977635Our anthem is multiple centuries older than Germany itself. "Duits" here means "Germanic"
>>533977109You have never traveled, have you. Selling stuff in the real world is different from putting things up at marktplaats. Reality, try it sometime
>>533974780>OH NEE
>>533977344You will not make friends easily here I'm afraid. Most Dutch suck at English, they can speak it but they don't like to have social lives that are English orientated. Some tech workers are very internationally minded though. Most Dutch are complete cunts though, especially to foreigners.
>>533977902>Selling stuff in the real world is different from putting things up at marktplaats.Yeah you have to wait around all day to get 2 or 3 customers. It's just super inefficient. In Japan they have shops where ordinary people can rent a tiny space to sell their personal stuff. That's the only decent alternative to selling it online.
>>533976448I fear I can't contain myself
>>533974780And they will happily vote to be replaced
>>533974780Happy koningsdag!
