The problem with being a NEET as you get older is actually not that there is some law of physics which prevents you from ever achieving success. It’s that if you are still a NEET at 30 you probably have some ethical lapse that has made you to be a NEET still and will likely prevent you from achieving success in the future and since you’ve just let it go so long you probably will continue to do so. It’s a sign of a personality defect, basically. If NEETs suddenly woke up at 33 and could work hard, make smart decisions while taking the right risks, they’d be fine.
