So let me see if I understand this. You can plan and make decisions in your own life to become successful. This is encouraged for the vast majority of people. But for some unknown reasons we cannot plan our economy. Why?
>>533983195Hey I could probably do a pretty good job centralizing and planning the economy to maximize resource allocation, maximize labor participation, and anticipate demand and supply in ways that eliminate waste and reduce supply chain costs. But what will end up actually happening is AI will be wasted on drawing pictures of unicorns and ponies
>>533983195We do control our economy, just not officially. If you could see the official 5 year plans you'd see it's all about maximizing the gain for the elites, destroying the middle class, flooding the country with immigrants, etc. What, you think the elites don't do this shit? This stuff's more controlled than it ever was in the USSR.

>>533983195>But for some unknown reasons we cannot plan our economy. Why?Centralization is impossible. Too easily corrupted and cannot account for every single variable anyways.
>>533983195every large company engages in financial forecasting... but you can't do it at a national level because.... because you just can't, okay!!!!
>>533983195The economy IS planned, just not by YOU or anyone who shares YOUR interests XD
>>533983195For 3 primary reasons. Firstly when you plan your own economy you are doing it for yourself, you know yourself best and if you buy tomatoes when you really like potatoes you only have yourself to blame. That doesn't work when you do it for someone else.Second is scale, it's easy enough to figure out what you need but much harder to figure out what a nation needs. If you just take what you buy and multiply it by 300 million you will lack several basic goods that you don't even know the names off but are critical in everything and at the same time have massive oversupply of junk that no one wants.Third and most importantly when you plan your own economy you have skin in the game, if you do stupid stuff the one who has to pay is you. When you are playing with someone elses money while taking a hefty cut for yourself you have no reason to act sensibly. A child can understand stuff like this. When you finish elementary school you are welcome to check back on the board.
>>533983195>You can plan and make decisions in your own life to become successfulBecause you're one person. Your right big toe can't plot to enrich itself at the expense of the rest of your body.>>533985733Also this.
>>533985447>Centralization is inevitable. Too easily corrupted and cannot account for every single kickback anyways.Fixed
>>533985447>Too easily corruptedPfffft you don't think your precious market is just and corrupt if not worse?Just a handful of companies control the price of nearly all consumer goods and services.
>>533988581And many of those company's have people on the board of directors of the Federal Reserve system.
>>533989013So the rich have ever infiltrated the federal reserve to get money printer to go brrrrrr for their corporations that they own.Yet pol retards will say, ",only government is corrupt" and totally ignore the huge corruption in the private sector.
>>533985154I've run a fairly large food wholesaling business for twenty years. I use a really advanced order forecasting system that needs to be adjusted constantly. I can only imagine how off a larger, more complex forecasting system would be.

>>533983195COMMUNISM IS THE WORST
>>533983195CAPITALISM IS THE BEST
>>533990580who ignored the private sector corruption? that’s one of the main reasons/evidence to point to why centralization doesn’t work decentralization should be the goal
