I spent 6K on computer parts to build a PC 5 years ago, and with how much wear and use I gave it, it was worth all its weight in investment. I bought modifications for my car and bike, and I dabble in the Wargaming hobby (Warmachine, Warhammer 40K, Battletech) that I use every other weekend with some people I meet in Meetup.Albeit a lot of money, but it all has its purpose.

I put most of my money into my business and my race car. But the money I win from drag races go back into my race car just so I can stay competitive. My job is competitive with the rates I ask for the service I provide.My hobby is competitive with the upgrades I need to make to stay ahead of the other racers. Both equal out just fine as I continue to live my life free from high maintenance women and I am okay with this.
