ALL White Americans have a basic understanding of Spanish language, they may not be fluent but can easily understand a Chicano gangbanger, they are familiar with the type of Catholicism followed by Latinos, they know all the banter, insults, etc used by Latinos and can banter with them in Spanish. They drink the same tequila as Latinos and understand their liquor tastes. Likewise the Americans don't just order a burrito or tacos they actually converse in Spanish with the guy making it. Latinos and White Americans all live together in the same areas and neighbourhood as well. It's not like that in Britain where entire areas are marked down as "white English" or "Asian" which basically means Indian/Paki.What causes Americans to mesh with Latinos while Brits and South Asians are completely seperate?
