I've noticed that Ashton Kutcher and Gorden Joseph Levitt only seemed to appear in movies and TV with a pro-police agenda.

And then they ended up doing things for law enforcement. Kutcher runs Thorn, the file-hashing database for CSAM, and Joseph Gordon Levitt is being used as a PR man to repeal Section 230 (free speech online)
Ashton Kutcher appeared in The Butterfly Effect which is about getting revenge on a pedophile through time travel, and he did Punkd, where actors often got a scare by being caught partying wild and then fake cops appear, and we see them outside the TV set and how they act irl.
Joseph Gordon Levitt was in The Dark Knight where he was a good cop, and that movie in general is actually just kind of a crime thriller more than a Superhero movie.
