How much does simply being arrested impact your life anons? Even if it resulted in NFA (No futher action)?

I know a criminal record is bad, but what about just being arrested without any convictions or pending investigations???

I know, for example it impacts eligibility for the ETSA Visa Waiver programme
>>
>>534019033
it puts your fingerprints and dna into a government database

Ok so say that's happened and you're a good boy in the first instance?
>>
>>534019033
I got in a fight in high school 30 years ago, ticketed for battery but charge dropped soon after, and it kept me from getting a visa for my fiance under AWA
>>
>>534019157
And jews will bring up the arrest when it's convenient since most goyim thing it's bad.
Convicted is where trouble starts.
>>
>>534019253
Assuming your charges are dropped or you're found innocent, you would want to ask the courts to expunge your record and seal all case details. Or at least in America. If asked by an employer if you've been arrested, you can legally say "no".
>>
>>534019554

They wont expunge shit for any reason in the UK, we are the proto-dystopia
>>
>>534019226

Okay. What did you do and what was prison like?
>>
>>534019967
The rehabilitation of offenders act does just that. They've been lowering the timeframes over the years so you actually have it easier.
Arrests don't need to be disclosed. Even prison sentences expire after a few years depending on length.

Well I can't get a job at a crisis centre but that's it, aggravated assault with bodily harm and loss of consciousness.
Did 6 months.
If it was in the anglosphere I'd probably get 6 years, my attorney said I was a cunthair from getting one and a half years.

I actually agree with all this anon but not what I'm getting at either.

My issue is, I had an allegation made against me (domestic) that got me arrested, and was over in 6 weeks.

I just worry about this coming up in the future, I didn't have to worry about this before being arrested

I think you underestimate the social impact of even an arrest record. Your friends and family will never look at you the same. They'll always believe you're capable of elaborate or violent crime because of one mistake. You'll be gossiped about, removed from wills, excluded from certain events on top of the financial burden of paying for a lawyer.

Unless you're going for a 50 million bank heist, it's not worth it.

>>
>>534021606
Guilty, 2018, probation and rehabilitation order after being on remand for 12 months.
>>
>>534021603
Then you have nothing to declare. I'm not sure about travelling to America, Australia etc. They can be tough but I've never tried as I'm 100% not getting in.
An enhanced disclosure to work with kids etc may throw up an arrest. I'm not sure but that's the only three things you need to read up on.
Anyone else asks if you've been arrested you can legally say no and they can't check.
>>
>>534019967
They do ackshully. After a set number of years. I forget how long but you could look it up if you are interested enough.
>>
>>534019033
I first got arrested for possession of a weed pipe and a stiletto knife 6 months after age 18 and they threw the book at me. No expungement or way to get out of it. Served two years concurrent probation (so one year), and just could never get a good job after that. So for my whole life basically been a serf even though the first 18.5 years of my life I was busting my ass and considered academically gifted. Ruined my life totally. class A misdemeanor and I've been kicked around ever since. I'm 41 now, so more than half my life and I have 34 more years to go until they expunge my record.
>>
>>534021693
That's a community order so you don't have to disclose it to employers once the order is completed.
Remand is not a sentence so is irrelevant.
You're free and clear, you don't have to tell anyone even if they ask.
Again. USA/Australia visas and enhanced disclosure I'm not sure. Easy to check though.

I lived in the UK for over 20 years. I know that you are fucked if you have convictions and are applying for car insurance or a loan, a rental or a bank account. I don't think that you are affected if you haven't any convictions though.
>>
>>534021842
>>534021879
Damn you, I dont want to go to work so I volunteer the info lmfao. But yea, thanks.
>>
>>534021879
I will say, if you know the owner of that site that letting people browse for more than a minute before asking for money would be better to get more donos id imagine.
>>
>>534021966
Even drink drive convictions are spent after 5 years and don't have to be disclosed to insurance.
I've got 2m left.......
>>
>>534022043
That works too. ;-)
>>
>>534021604
Society is just as much to blame as I am
>>
>>534022193
I have no idea who runs it. I found it trying to work out how long I'd get raped on car insurance after a DD.
>>
really if you're just arrested but then released without charges, it should be illegal to even ask
>>
>>534021966
Nope. Can’t see that being the case at all. Your antecedents are sealed, banks can’t look at them. Company House can’t. They don’t ask in my experience.
Maybe you were frightened over, just nothing, bumps in the night?
The only time you would have to declare are
*when you have an unfinished sentence like when released from prison as time iff for good behaviour.
*job application law is pretty strict. I’m not sure about how it works without asking worr lass BUT the data protection act is VERY strict to and an employer can’t use info gained by being your employer against your best interests.
>>
>>534021966
>loan, a rental or a bank account.
These all fall under no need to disclose if spent too.
>>
>>534022360
They only ask about unspent convictions unless it's exempt (police/nursing/children/security services etc)
Nobody asks about arrests or spent convictions. If they do they can be lied to legally.
>>
I dont US anons have a good say as it varies wildly state to state. Like getting a dwi in NM makes it permanent (cannot be expunged) but getting a dwi in Idaho can be a temporary thing.
States like California and Texas have some super fuck-you approaches to certain crime but stupidly lax on other shit.
The biggest red flag should be your dna, face, fingerprints, and some other stuff get databased in federal vaults.
>>
>>534021245
>>534021603
Apply to the ACRO to get the arrest expunged, claim that it was retaliatory/malicious. They're obliged to delete records where no charges were brought.
You may need to get a solictor to put the right words on paper for a nominal fee (£200 or so)
>>
>>534022328
>>534022274
Sweet, im on the ol UCLCWRA and getting about £800 a month which is what any job I've ever had has paid me after taxes a month so fucknit.
>>
>>534022534
Handy. I didn't know you could do that. Nice.
>>
>>534022637
If you're on lcwra you should be on pip too which adds a further £440.
>>
>>534022259
This.
I remember now.
>spent convictions
once a conviction is spent you would not declare it in the rare cases where are expected to declare it. Like applying for certain jobs.
Only things like child molesting are not covered. So you can’t be a teacher ever if say you did five years for a diddling or w/e.
Most convictions are spent in 5 years for short term sentences (under 3.5 years) and “spent” after 10 years for long term sentences.
Or something like that, very close to that. You can look it up but this is basically right.
>>
>>534022737
They reduced the periods a few years ago. They're much shorter now.
>>
>>534019033

Horseshit. I had every advantage and we ended up in the same place. Sorry your dumbass ancestors traded your land for a few blankets and barrels of rum to the British and now you can't live off the land. But if they could live off the land, would any chug willingly give up modern conveniences like indoor plumbing, woven clothes, or the internet? No, and guess what? You can't have a smartphone without subjugation because the treaties signed back set the stage, then allowed access to the resources that build them.

They get to tick a box, they don't care. They'll hire you.

I was denied pip... but when I applied i was on email. Maybe i should apply again?
>>
>>534022991
Yea, there was a female screw call miss Jackson in Lincoln prison. She was fine for a prison guard but when released she went back to being mid. Also a sexy blonde who gave out medication. Phwoar
>>
>>534023167
I dont believe you. I can get a job really I just dont want one. But im a chef and chefs get hired even when smoking crack cocaine in the kitchen. One of the last jobs I had i quit cause the HC was a cunt so I rang a place in another city. Told them how great inwas and was hired for a trial whenever I arrived. Got the job but was sacked.for flirting with a waitress the boss fancied I reckon cause you cant sack someone for putting tofgee sauce on a sticky toffee pudding.

>>
>>534024336
They've just made pip harder but find the disability benefits forums. They'll get you sorted. Turn2us etc.
>>
>>534025123
Would be easier if I could find a White doctor who doesn't like migrants so would help me get the most benefits available. I feel a bit shit lying about things but contributing to a society that hates me and wants me tied to a mortgage for 30 years whilst having fucl all else is something I dont want to do. Once they start sending them back and I can buy a house in 5 years then im saying fuck it. Just wish I never gave up my housing ass flat to "do the right thing and get off drugs" been homeless ever since. Not street homeless but not had a full time home. Sounds dumb but im hoping to inherit my mothers council flat and maybe buy that but me mam hates me so yea. Im such a scumbag lol
