>an illiterate merchant CANNOT come up with stuff like this.
He plaigarised the quran from the Bible, all the "knowledge" in the quran was widely available to anyone in 6th century Arabia. All the new claims that the quran makes, such as bones supposedly forming before flesh in an embryo, are completely wrong.
>lol
see pic related. It's obvious that Muhammad was illeterate, because he made so many grammatical mistakes.
So there are ten different versions of the quran, containing different words from each other, and thus each contradicting each other. There were no short vowels in uthman's quran, that's why there are different "readings" of the quran, so it's impossible to know which of the ten available qurans was the one created by Muhammad.
>to prove it to (you) on judgement day.

"What religions believe in predestination or do all religions assume god can predict the future perfectly?"
Ask an LLM and it will explain what different religions believe in what form of predestination, human free will or omniscience. There is a clear distinction between Protestant Christians and Sunni Muslims in terms of how they see free will and how god fits into that.

>if a news site doesn't have one, you can just make one with a bridge.
Wouldn't this end up with you having tons of bridges?
---
My original data-driven idea was to get both free and paid APIs for logistical, economical and statistical data of nations / regions. That way, one could always cross reference the core data with whatever is currently a hot topic (Iran, Ukraine, etc.).
Next to that, you'd have corporate and governmental public releases. It's basically what all news sites use as their primary source, but they often abuse the primary source to create their pathetic biased reporting (primary sources are already very biased; news just makes it worse). I think people are interested in the public releases rather than the biased reporting based on those.
---
The repo you shared is incredibly impressive and is more than just an idea; It's a fully functional project, which does really impressive scraping. I might put it in a container and give it a spin.

As in shoot their way through the blockade? I wonder. Worst case is they have to close some wells, which has a very high % chance it does severe damage. But the same goes for all the oil that can't leave the GCC through non-hormuz means, right? Aren't Pakistan and India creating new routes for Iranian oil?

Iran had multiple plans in place when it came to the blockade and it seems like they won't even have to deal with the blockade now, as long as the US doesn't decide to run into Pakistani or Indian waters Iran will just hug the shore and can sell their oil
If insurance companies are ready to just accept a new normal then that means it's just the US posturing from now on

i read the first one and shan't read the rest. idk where to find word by word Arabic grammar in the English language and i'm not competent enough to translate Arabic grammar to English but the sentences grammar structures is different and using uu instead of ii is warranted.

>different words from each other, and thus each contradicting each other
different words by subtle reading changes that doesn't contradict at all.
different meaning, yes. but no contradiction.
>There were no short vowels in uthman's quran, that's why there are different "readings" of the quran, so it's impossible to know which of the ten available qurans was the one created by Muhammad.
it's the other way around. the Qur'an had different readings all from the prophet and when Uthman collected the pages into one, he wanted a single copy that allows the different readings.

one thing westerners cannot understand or they always ignore, it's that the Qur'an was not pages that were "found" or people each wrote it down and stashed it.
it was memorized and recited orally between people and also written down.
people would have laughed at the Prophet if the Arabic structure was wrong and no one would have ever taken him seriously since they were all big on the Arabic thing and well written poems were hung on the Kaaba for all to see.

>Iran–Pakistan gas pipeline
Iran's part of the pipeline has been built, so I'm curious whether Pakistan would act quicker, seeing how USA failed to put Iran to its knees. Safe bet is that USA was the one blocking the pipeline being built, but them losing influence over this debacle and the current need for oil might push it forward.
Would be interesting to see what will happen with this.
>The project was originally meant to include India, and that’s actually a big part of why it’s geopolitically interesting.

He (supposed to be a nobody) got money from Soros to fund his "Institute of Legal Defence" and if you want to be president of the supreme court of justice (highest rank btw) YOU NEED to pass a exam from his institute (stupid, i know).

It is true that if they hit capacity they'll be forced to shut off the oil and damage the pipeline but there's a big question as to how much oil it will take before they reach capacity and that's before whatever countermeasures they might have in place, considering Iran's actions I don't think they're worried and one thing I don't see mentioned is how that also applies to oil coming from the gulf states. What's really baffling is that the US is trying to play the waiting game which seemingly only favours Iran.

I actually don't think TKD is great. What needs to be removed is the pdf/war criminal safe haven (Israel). TKD will only lead to them crawling into a victim role and getting away with it. Muhammad lived in Mecca, it had a small Christian and Jewish population. Mecca was a local centre of trade in the Arabian peninsula. A relative of Muhammad's first wife was a Christian. It would be easy for Muhammad to hear stories about the torah and the Bible.
>different words by subtle reading changes that doesn't contradict at all.
If the reading changes completely change the meaning of the words, then they're not subtle. The quran itself makes the (false)claim that it is the unchanging word of God, but then the quran itself was corrupted from the beginning.

You have to remember that Iran went from barely selling any oil before the war to now having complete freedom from the sanctions effects, Europeans trying to cut a deal with them and he'll even the snow being back, this looks like an omen from god for them, oil overflow is something only Americans and GCCers looking at lost profits will care about, like the other anon said, they'll just burn what they can't keep if closing the valve is that much of an issue or dump it into their own internal market, the potential profits from the sales once this is all over is just too good to give a shit

The US really screwed Asia. Sanctions, thereby preventing international trade and just insane levels of war and violence. Both the Iran to India and Turkmenistan to India pipelines fell through and the US had a leading role to play in both.

Yeah, the main force behind the supremacist idea is the Jewish state that is pushing domestically and abroad. Looking how its tentacles stretch into politics and corporations, beheading it would expose the rest. Maybe being awfully optimistic but at least it seems obtainable at some point in time. Especially seeing how reckless and generally disliked Israel has become. The same hatred doesn't extend to Jews outside though. I think it's not going to happen either. That being said, people have become more immune to the anti-semitism attack line.

They can exert a lot of pressure but now it seems a threshold has been reached (for Europe, India, Pakistan, ...). They will pander to Trump but their actions will be increasingly against US wishes and there is nothing they can do about it.

>*Why would God create people...
it all began with god putting a "khalifa", a representative on earth. the angels were astonished by this news, asking god, "why would you do that when you could make them angels and keep them here in heaven?" they were implying: how can god do this when this so-called human can do tremendous wrong, shedding blood, killing each other, and so on? to their tiny, pre-programmed minds, it was a negative thing. then God replied, "i know what you do not know."

you see, angels are pre-programmed to love God and follow his orders blindly without saying a single word, whereas humans have free will, the free will to either believe in God or simply do the opposite.

which means that if you truly believe in god, you become better than angels, since angels are pre-programmed to love god, whereas you choose to do so.

Not sure whether it's worth replying to a 1pbtid shill. The deal Obama and his diplomats struck wasn't perfect but most people would agree it was a careful balancing act of interests. Iran was still sanctioned but the enrichment was off the table. Israel (bibi) hated the deal because it didn't go far enough. Then again: You can't force it militarily, so coping and kvetching wouldn't have made the deal any sweeter.
>That was the lesson
Trump was too stupid to learn the lesson through extensive war games and planning. Because he's a retard. It's a shame executive powers have this much room in terms of deciding who to go to war with without congressional approval. A sign that the balance of powers is not all right in the states. Successive governments haven't fixed it because they all used their powers rather than curtail it.

well, God does not compel your actions. your own choices are what lead you to hell. consider an analogy: a teacher knows in advance that a certain number of his students will fail. that prior knowledge does not cause their failure, their neglect of study does.

likewise, if God foreknew that you would end up in hell and still granted you existence, that does not make him responsible for your damnation. you alone bear responsibility, for you possess free will. you could have chosen otherwise, yet you did not. so why then shift the blame onto god?

Rail can't move much compared to a tanker. So far I've only seen old VLCC being prepped for storage.
I wonder does Iran have any floating bladder storage. I recall there was an idea years ago about using big bladders for oil transport that could be towed.
They'd give them a bit more space.

I think Bibi is basically done for. The IDF is bogged down in Lebanon and basically has been overstretched for months, with reservists getting cycled in and out. Without US support, Israel would be unable to even fight Hezbollah for another DAY much less Iran. I think Trump is already losing interest in the whole thing and is basically playing the game of "if I close my eyes and ears maybe the problem will go away".
The diplomatic tour across friendly states, which Araghchi has done was basically a victory lap, making new deals under the new paradigm. Europe and east Asia are already schmoozing up to Iran. Unthinkable just 10 years ago, but it's happening. We are witnessing a massive shift in power and any armed conflict on top would be pointless. Maybe, maybe Netanyahu will try some desperate manouver to keep the war going but will quickly get his shit pushed in by Iran.

>is that water referring to pollution of the Ganges river? just looking into it briefly makes it seem that it gets more polluted the further down-river you get, is that not the case?
It actually isn't the case, I was really surprised. There's actually a (currently non-working) real time water quality measurement system which shows that water quality has an inverse relationship with the poverty of the state - the most polluted parts of the Ganges are in a state called Bihar which is infamous here as our national basket case. Downstream states that are less poor have water suitable for bathing.
In case by some bizarre chance you're actually interested, https://cpcb.nic.in/openpdffile.php?id=UmVwb3J0RmlsZXMvMTg0MF8xNzc1NjQyNTY0X21lZGlhcGhvdG8yMjU3NS5wZGY= pages 15 to 32 specifically deal with Ganges river water quality. I was actually surprised to see how much improvement there's been. Thanks /pol/, I'd never have gone digging for data without you.

>>534032372
you seem to have missed the whole idea, lad. it went right over your head, and you're just repeating what you already said.

the very moment a human is created is a gift not given even to angels themselves, the kind of gift that grants you a position better than angels: the gift of free will.

it is not God's fault that he knew you would go to hell. it's your fault, because you still have free will. God does not compel you to either believe in him or otherwise.

you create a being and see his life timeline unfold in a second, from the moment he is born to the moment he dies. everything in between is your own doing, and everything that comes after is a direct result of your actions within this period of your life.

that is the beauty of free will. if God simply prohibited the existence of people who would eventually go to hell, then why create humans in the first place? because all the humans thereafter would be good. you might as well stick to angels only then, right?

Israel, yes, they are the biggest losers out of this whole scenario. Netanyahus big dream of finally crushing Iran turbed out to be a delusion and Israel has lost their standing with the global public, sense of security and gained basically nothing, other than some kilometers of Lebanon, with questionable permanence as well as some month of impunity while pushing out palestinians.
Not only have they NOT emerged as the new regional Hegemon, like they have been working towards for decades,
it turns out their mortal enemy now occupies that spot.
GCC has been disillusioned with US protection and will orient towards China and be forced to play nice with Iran.

The US has basically been humiliated and is getting blamed for a massive global recession (only about to get really bad). Alienated their allies and protectorates.

Trump "waiting it out" is basically him admitting defeat, whether he knows it or not. Iran controls the strait and that wont be contested by his blockade. It hurts Iran, but does not really challenge their control of the strait. That is here to stay.

Iran has lots of salt domes (basically solid blocks of salt stretching for kilometres) and they could pump saltwater in and out to dissolve caverns that are oil-impermeable, providing a massive storage pool. On one hand, they don't seem nervous but on the other hand, there's no data suggesting they've actually done this.

I have a little theory that they pushed Donnie over the edge in Iran case because they knew hormuz is going be closed and it will damage oil infrastructure.
I do not believe deepstate actually is that stupid and could not predict this scenario,in fact they WANTED scorched earth in middle east.
But I think they still overestimated US power and underestimated Iran so this is why we're in this weird limbo, they had no military means to hurt Iran gravely and now backed off reassessing the situation.
Their endgoal was probably to damage the oil infrastructure and take over iran along with hormuz.
>>
>>534033204
I think we are past that now. They are moving to phase 2.

The most obvious takeaway for me is that poverty and overpopulation is correlated with (and may be causative) to water pollution since the areas that have the highest water pollution are the poorest, most backward, most illiterate and overpopulated.

National socialism? It's communism... And it's not even a fully planned economy. The planned aspect is that they subsidize and meddle with strategically important companies, so despite "some" capitalism, they still hold a tight grip on corporations, especially if they get big and important.
AFAIK the whole AI industry and everything attached to it is heavily funded the the government. That being said, there are plenty of incentives for well performing companies. Again: It's not purely communist or capitalist or national socialism. Reality doesn't adhere to the strict rules of the models we use to classify them into ideologies.

to be better than angels. by all means, regardless of what we can do or achieve, even after thousands of years of evolution, we won't have a fraction of 0.0000007% of what God himself can do. God is beyond time and space. think of it this way: a contained sphere which house all created universes is bound by time and space. God is bound by nothing.

jeffrey lang put it well. imagine you have a fish and a daughter. the fish and the daughter are a metaphor for angels and humans. you can feed the fish, but you will never experience true love from that fish. it will never understand what love means. your daughter, on the other hand, will understand it easily, no problem at all. and that ease of understanding, that capacity for genuine reciprocal love, is exactly the position of "better than angels" that i meant.

It does change the meaning of the verse, since the meanigs of the words change the meanonggs of the verse.
>it was revealed to the prophet in different readings.
You mean god supposedly revealed 10 different qurans to Muhammad, with 10 different meanings, and not just one?

This is just cope. It's obvious that Uthman's quran was ambiguous due to lacking short vowels, Arabic was a bad language to write the Quran in due to its grammatical limitations(lack of short vowels). This lead to corruptions on Uthman's Quran before short vowels were introduced to Arabic.
>in the meantime, what do you think of this?
This is the verse:
>then We developed the drop into a clinging clot ˹of blood˺, then developed the clot into a lump ˹of flesh˺, then developed the lump into bones, then clothed the bones with flesh, then We brought it into being as a new creation. So Blessed is Allah, the Best of Creators.

"The verse above suggests that bones are clothed with flesh in that order (incorrect) and that these bones are made from a lump of flesh (incorrect).

Let's start with the order...

From an embryological point of view, the embryo develops as a bunch of cells, a morula, which becomes a blastula, then undergoes a process called Gastrulation, causing the cells to differentiate into three different cell populations known as germ layers.

At this point, there is nothing resembling bone. The cell population known as Mesoderm goes on to develop into many cell types, including bone, but the first bone doesn’t appear until gestation has progressed much further.

Flesh is what develops first, and bone develops as a subset of “flesh” cells."
