I don't understand how the militaries seem so willing to sacrifice everything so that a few pedophiles can continue being centibillionaires.

Trump wants battleships like its 1944. Its half a graft/pork project and half senile little boy brain. This might be somebodies grandpa distraction.

OK. Sure.

This. Two $50 drones can take a ship out of service. It's ridiculous to waste billions on them. Focus on drone fleets and cheap missiles.

>>534038536
why do you think billionaires are paying out of their hearts to rebuild the white house?

False many Asian car and bike companies own the u.s military via contracts since Americans are brain dead and drooling currently

I wonder how they factor in the fact they fucked them over at the whore moose though

We literally can't. Only bugs can build modern day warships. You need many bugs working around the clock who are all very intelligent. We have niggers and spics and meth white men and boomers. It's literally over for us. China has a shipbuilding capacity that is over 200x greater than ours. That's not a typo and it's from an official DoD report last year. Every new warship we design and build runs into cost overrun and has major failures and are not made in sufficient enough quantity. It's not a joke. It's over for us. We lost.
>>

>not made in sufficient enough quantity
This is the actual problem, the US (and Europe) still have strategic shipbuilding capability that can produce impressive warships, but they have very limited capacity because governments only order a very limited number of vessels compared to the commercial maritime industry. Guaranteed business also disincentivises investment in improving efficiency as they don't need to out-compete other shipyards and they know that the government will never allow them to go bust.

Though interestingly while the giant Asian shipyards are great at cranking out enormous numbers of enormous hulls a surprising amount of each ship is actually imported - for example Germany manufactures a lot of engines and propellors for the cargo ships built out in Asia, and amazingly the German maritime manufacturing industry makes about the same amount of money as South Korea's, who are the #2 global shipbuilder by tonnage.

However, this is a commonality not only in the United States but across Western societies.

It is not just the U.S. that cannot build warships; Western societies in general are incapable of doing so.

Why? Because all developed Western nations voluntarily abandoned manufacturing after the collapse of the Soviet Union.

Fundamentally, manufacturing generates profit only when employees work long hours and their wages are low.

For example, the fact that an iPhone currently costs only $1,000 to $2,000 is entirely the result of Chinese workers toiling for long hours for low wages.

If it were manufactured in the U.S., where labor costs are $4,000, the price of the product would rise by the difference between Chinese and American wages.

Conversely, the financial and service industries generate high added value and earn a lot of money.

Just think about stocks and cryptocurrencies. You might earn $3,000 to $4,000 with a month's work, but with cryptocurrencies or stocks, if you have enough capital, you can make a massive amount of money in just minutes or hours.

Therefore, the West outsourced all unprofitable manufacturing to Asia and developed its economy centering on finance and the service sector.

As a result, they made enormous profits. This is the reason why Korea’s GDP is only half that of the UK, even though it engages in everything from semiconductors, tanks, armored vehicles, fighter jets, shipbuilding, home appliances, phones, and automobiles. Korea’s financial sector is truly weak.

However, paradoxically, this financial safety applies only during times of peace. When times of chaos or war arrive, the producers become the dominant party. After all, you cannot build a fortress by simply piling up money.

Americans still don’t seem to grasp how dire the situation is, so let me break it down for you.

The US tried to build the Constellation-class frigates because the fleet is rotting, but two years in, the project is only 10% complete. The cost is even more insane. For the price of one, you could have built two of Korea’s Sejong the Great-class Aegis destroyers.

The project eventually hit a wall, so instead, the US decided to pivot to a design based on a Coast Guard cutter. The problem? It’s a 20-year-old design with zero modernization. It lacks serious ASW capabilities, has no helicopter hangar, and the armament is pathetic. It’s an objectively inferior vessel.

But since the current fleet is falling apart, they pushed forward anyway. BUT the recent price estimate just leaked: $1.9 billion per ship.

UNDERSTAND? The US is now paying $1.9 billion for a tin can ship with bottom-tier specs. In Korea, that same money buys you five Chungnam-class frigates. (And yes, the Chungnam-class has significantly better specs in every single category)

This is the price the US pays for abandoning manufacturing in favor of a finance and service-based economy. You chased the easy money in banking while letting your industrial base wither. Now, your labor costs are so bloated and your skilled workforce so depleted that you can't even build a basic hull anymore.

This is the reality of the US today lol
Just buy Korean ships. It’s literally your only viable alternative
