My (white) cousin has an IQ of over 150, the valedictorian of his elite prestigious private school, won a gold medal in an international linguistics Olympiad in beijing, perfect SAT score, rejected from ever single ivy league schools (yes he applied to them all), he should be running the country but because of liberalism he works as a barista in a coffee shop while attending a mid University. This also includes the ability to express your own arguments and ideas so nobody can use poor rhetoric against it and of course both involve mastery of language. Shit a lawyer would do, scientist, novelist, etc. Second is induction or the ability to make a leap from the special case to the abstract general theory and prove it. This includes transfer skills or the ability to recognize a concept in one context is the same concept in a totally different context.For 1000 years this was taught as a "classical degree" and most universities still offer this degree but they completely removed it from highschools and the replacement curriculum is total ass garbage that fails to prepare students to learn those 2 things for university. They arrive illiterate now and have no transfer skill abilities so the concept of a marginal unit in economics makes no sense to them even though they were already taught derivatives in highschool.For this reason we all have to redo highschool for an entire year in university spending about $10,000 or more for basic shit that should have been covered in public schools. In countries like Singapore this is unacceptable but here nobody cares we have to spend 4 useless years in university when it could just be 2-3 years then go straight into masters which is employment training.
