Why didn’t Iran build underground facility deep enough underground like china did?
How exactly do you study dark matter? Do they think if the matter is dark deep underground then they should study it?
Why not just study it at nighttime

I figure China is studying 20% for extreme scientific prestige if they can prove its existence/measure its characteristics and 80% in hopes of making some fundamental science breakthrough that will lead to unassailable technological superiority, much like harnessing atomic power first did for the US.
