Why do people associate the happiest day of your life with your wedding day?It's absurd. I mean, it's a significant event, but there are happier moments, like graduating from university after so much effort, being with your partner while your baby is born, watching your children grow up, achieving a goal that took years, etc. But your wedding day? This whole ritual seems absurd to me. You spend so much money on one day for what? It's so fleeting that I don't think it's worth making it so special. True happiness is something constant, not a dopamine rush that will end in less than 24 hours.
Marriage is a scam anyways. It's just legal theft.
