>by 2028 only whitelist sites will be available to Russian users, with no VPNs being available to bypass regional limitations

>by 2030 only "Smart Runet" will be available, making Russian "internet" similar to it's North Korean counterpart

Russia has pretty shitty track record of reaching it's technological goals so it probably won't look exactly like this. However it still can cut it's citizens from the internet. Russian government already started boiling the frog with prolonged internet blackouts happenning in the country.

Russian flags: there's no way 4chan ever gets on Russian whitelist. Are you somehow preparing for this? Or maybe you're expecting change of government before Russia is completely cutted from the internet?

Source for expected timeframe is pravda.ru, which is very much pro-government site:

I legit get better results from yandex instead of google or bing when it comes to borderline 'offensive' topics or news. eastern PC isnt the same as here in the west

gonna be sad when its gone

So we never be seeing Flex Air ending....

The article says they want to have an autarkic internet that's not dependent on ZOG infrastructure that can be turned off in a future war.

lmao didnt your economic zone arrest that guy because his pug did a nazi salute?
>>

They're getting cut off because they plan to invade you actually.

Information is easier to control and war is easier to justify if your people are behind an iron curtain.

In China, if you are a little tech savvy you can still use normal internet.
In Russia it will be even more retarded. They are Slavs after all.

>>534096508
>Russian flags
4chan is already banned in Russia.
All remaining Russian flags you see is literally Russian state trolls.
>>
>>534096508

Of course. Downloading shill threads, gore threads, memeflag posts and BBC videos to tide me over during my 4chan withdrawal.
>>

Surprised they even HAVE an internet to begin with.

This is quite obvious, as the military and economic strangulation has failed, and now the beneficiaries are losing money.
Now, what they need to do is inconvenience the Russian population enough to cause a revolution.
And the Internet is the best lever of pressure when the West decides that it's time to cut Russia off.
>>

China can share their experience in that field. Not NK.

You're telling me these 888 whitelisted sites have better stuff than rest of the internet combined?

It's the other way around, retard.
Russian state employees are not allowed to use VPNs so only illegal Russian chuds are posting here.
>>
>>534098409
I prefer honest Russian flag, even if it's spewing retarded shit because at least we know what's going on in your country. There's at least some kind of connection and understanding.

Now it will be all FSB's vpniggers spewing Kremlin's propaganda.

There's nothing stopping Russia from simply purchasing Chinese-made equivalents of information security products.

Yes, this opens the backdoors for Chinese spying, but that's a separate issue for another time. Currently, we're dealing with an increase in corporate imperialist aggression that utilizes the United States as a base of operations, and for them, resisting Russia means losing a significant market and resource base.
>>
>>534098193
I don't really understand this perspective. Do you actually mean this? Are you a bot? Like, I can't comprehend how your mind works.
>>
>>534098533
I heard that Russian users in some regions are forced to change VPN several times a month. Russian gov has technical capabilities of blocking VPNs.

I don't know about Steam, but most vpniggers who post here aren't regular Russian retards somehow managed to learn VPN, but pic rel.
>>534098567
>Russian state employees are not allowed to use VPNs so only illegal Russian chuds are posting here.
If you have Russian flag it means you're not using VPN.

Also FSB doesn't give a fuck if it's allowed to use VPN or not. It just does.
>>
>>534098567
If you use VPN you don't get Russian flag, you dummy olgino troll.
>>
>>534096639
Not after 2028 you will.
>>
>>534098874
>Russian retards somehow managed to learn VPN,
When posting from VPN with exit node/ip on another country you don't get Russian flag, vyou get flag of that country.
From Russian ip you can't access 4chan. You can test it with vpn yourself btw, buy vpn with russain ip server.
>>
>>534098980
you can use vpn based in russia
i dont think they closed all
>>
>>534096508
Nah, they're too corrupt for that. They'll still have VPN and Yandex will still be around because the US is its biggest customer base. You watch.

It means Russia becomes much more dependent on China than Belarus is dependent on Russia. I know all these niggers smile when they're meeting, but in the end they're all schizos who are afraid of one another.
>>
We're going to follow your footsteps eventually
>>
>>534099097

And you will not be able to connect to 4chan if it's exit node/ip located in Russia. Again you can test it yourself.
>>
>>534096508
>there's no way 4chan ever gets on Russian whitelist.
Not for the general public, but you can be assured their government troll farms will have access. I don't expect Russian flags to disappear from 4chan, or for the content and substance of their posts to change at all here.

Putin is a faggot along with the rest of the Kremlin fags for doing this. This whole idea they have has turned their maggot brains into mush. What will happen in the long run is that when the war is over and time passes by, most russians with common sense will flee Russia to whatever country that gives them a better life with better opportunities. Russians are far from people from North Korea. No difference from the average Russian than the average European or American. If countries over here started doing stuff like this people would flee here also.
>>
>>534099147
Russia has energy that China needs. This could be an equal partnership. For some time.

However, Russia is currently dependent on Western electronics and software solutions in masse.
These include Intel and Windows, which have backdoors and are primarily governed by US laws.
US can give order and most of electronics signed "for Russia" became bricks.

Its just is.

How does this affect online services like games? Will there be no more Russians filling up the Genshin coop? No more hackers in CS?

>Russia has energy that China needs. This could be an equal partnership. For some time.
It's not happening now and the more Russia shoots itself in the foot, the weaker it becomes in this relationship. In 2022 Russia pushed for moving their resources to China (from Europe). Chinese told Russians that if they want to build gas pipeline (Power of Siberia), they must pay for it and then prices must be kept same as Russian inner prices (making entire thing not economically feasable). China trully doesn't care what Russia can give to it, because if Chinks want something from Russians, they just take. They won't invest in Russia more than they're investing in their most neglected provinces.

Nice digits, but Chinese oil tankers were first ships to be allowerd pass through (by Iranians and Americans alike). China isn't as much dependent on oil as many other countries (proportionally to it's size). They have more coal than they need and they already made jump to "green" energy that EU can only dream of. Russia already is their biggest oil suplier and if China ever wanted to double or triple these quantities, there's no way Russians will bargain.

Russia will not isolate itself. Rather, their strategy involves routing all communication within the country through state-run backbones and then filtering it. I'm not a fan of that either, but the west seems to be planning something similar.
