Sooo… I was staying on the strip in Protaras about … 2019. 5 star, very nice. Great beach. A coach arrives from the airport one day and it has all these people with very big faces on board and those coloured ribbons they wear and so I deduced that they were russian.Immediately they were all pissed in the twinkle of an eye and I do not mean tipsy I mean falling all over the place absolutely blind stinking drunk into insensibility. I went to some dance club Kiera Knightly and some other bigshots were at and came back to the strip very late, the strip is a bunch of expensive family hotels with a lot of clubs and shops built just for tourists, like a little village for the hotels. It was about 4am. And I saw a body on the road. And then another. I walked past noticing their big faces and ribbons, then saw another. There were unconscious russians dotted all the way up the strip just totally zonked out sleeping on the road in their own piss just half a day after they had arrived. I don’t drink often, just on holiday and at celebrations. Getting a bit drunk is okay. But they were fucking spungoed. Being russian must have traumatised them if they think that doing that is fun. When i got home i asked on line how russians could afford to stay in the same hotel as me. Apparently there is a middle class of service industry people who do okay financially off providing services for the oligarchy. Most people still work all year for a bag of potatoes but this service class takes advantage of them and so they were doing okay financially. But now it looks like russia is fucked.
