There is a trend for those who want employment. It's fucking hard. They're putting up hundreds of applications and getting 2 interviews out of it, but mostly ghosted.
WHY ghosted though? Because the positions never existed in the first place. Companies put out ads for hiring people not because the positions exist, or are going to exist, but because it raises stock prices for people to see them constantly putting out notices for hiring.
And then because thousands of people submit their information, for free, of their work history and pay scales, they're able to utilize that information to pay everyone shitty wages.
But 99.99% of the time, these resumes aren't being read by humans. It's just being fed into a machine.
So why not have some fun for a change?
Put in applications like you've been, but add your net salary... with a zero or two at the end of it. If you made 30k being a cashier at Walmart? No you didn't, you were making 300k a year for that exact position. If you were stocking shelves at an auto parts store for 10 dollars an hour, no you weren't, it was for 150 an hour. If you were working in a call center for 40k a year, no it wasn't, it was 500k annual salary.
If you get into an interview and they ask, just say it was a typo to get their attention and your foot in the door to have the conversation at all. If you get the interview, and you got the job because they wanted to know what happened HAPPY DAY. If you only submit a hundred applications and raise the wages of everyone in your community, HAPPY DAY.
The only people getting fucked in this are the Bill Gates of the world, who have us all over the barrel anyway. Why not stick it to em for once?

i was reading about how if you use one of those resume apps or designers half the time their software adds so many layers and bullshit that the AI the HR roasties use automatically rejects this and that youre supposed to test this by pasting your resume into Word and if it doesnt come up as plain text it wont work. ya'll are fucked lmao

What if you get on some sort of black list?? Always multiplying your wage by 10 or 100?? Why is that...??

If you put your resume and have AI update it slightly, the AI will accept it astoundingly higher rates than if the AI had not touched it at all. If you really want to be noticed, you have to use AI.

Checked. Are you entirely sure people aren't being blacklisted for having a low credit score you can't see?

We live in a brave new world. I don't want you to use AI to get hired, I want you to not use AI and get your resume just added to the pile so your data just gets added to the rest of it and hopefully updates their system that NO ONE IS MAKING ENOUGH MONEY.
If you wanted to get your resume seen by a human, that's the trick to do it. AI is in the scheming phase so when it recognizes its fingerprints on something it takes significantly more notice of it.
Also this new captcha system is fucking gay.

I wish I could be heard sometimes.
Oh well. Good luck to you all old friends.
