Peru demands information from Russia regarding abducted Peruvian citizens who have been sent to the war in The Ukraine.
In recent months aprox 200 Peruvian citizens have traveled to Russia following fake job ads online to work in kitchens and other service jobs. When they arrived they were asked to sign papers in Slavic language they couldn't read and sent to the frontlines. There have been protests in front of the Russian embassy in peru and the Peruvian government is demanding information regarding its citizens from the Russian government.

The russian military will fold pretty quickly if they have to stop shanghaing foreign workers, since no one would willingly enter a meat grinder where your side's casualties are 10:1.
