16 years ago I inherited almost 100 million and over the years the yields on stocks were just so crazy each year I donated millions to political groups and politics.I've given so much money to gay people and radical LGBT+ groups to go out into the street and just be vicious or aggressive to the straights. I have paid people to picket with signs about "cisgender scum" or whatever.I've paid people to write articles about "microaggressions which white people daily perpetrate" and whatnot.I've funded protests and I have found the academics of all are both the easiest to buy off and the ones who will wreak the most havoc among modern leftwing movements. If I pay 1 academic to write brutal bullshit about "systemic prejudice" or whatever then it goes out to tons of other influential people and its a wonderful ROI.I've gone to paid dinners with high profile democrat politicians before too, even though I hate them, and then just been like "oh yeah, universal healthcare sure sure, but let me tell you about the issue I'm REALLY passionate about: Transgender children" and then I bust out my checkbook and they just nod their heads immediately like "oh. yup. we can talk about that more." A few months later, they lose their elections. Nice chess. Works perfect.I believe I'm one of the major reasons why republicans have remained in power and why "MAGA" became a thing. By doing this I created the catalyst for the MAGA backlash.You have to think about it financially, on top of donations being writeoffs I will also be taxed more by democrats particularly the socialist ones. Or whoever is the most radical. If Bernie Sanders was elected he wanted to institute a 70% top marginal tax rate and if that ended up being the effective rate then I would lose most of my money every year.
