Even their alleged K/D ratios are almost always lies or lies by omission. Like in Vietnam, ARVN did much of the heavy lifting and thus suffered a lot of casualties but they just ignore these.In Afghanistan when you consider Afghan government, Taliban actually had better K/D ratio. In Korea, they don’t count South Korean troops even tho they were majority of forces. It’s a culture of delusion and now their delusions are biting them in the ass (they squandered the benefit of two world wars and insanely superior geographical position) and their only solution is to cope and delude themselves even harder.

Plus their whole military culture and outlook is ridiculous. When exactly did Americans prevail in some vast conflict where odds were equal or stacked against them? Literally never. Their biggest claim to military fame is smacking around overstretched and inferior Japanese.Same Japanese were raped by post-Purge Red Army in Far East in 1939, so you can imagine the quality of their army. That’s why they see wars in inherently unserious terms. It’s just another distraction for their population. They aren’t actually directly threatened by these wars.
