A rus poster on the Russian national imageboard, Dvach, shared interesting insight on Moscow VS the city he now lives in, Warsaw
>I prefer Nowy Świat to Arbat. And Marszałkowska, in my opinion, is a better central, representative avenue than Tverskaya or Novy Arbat (although Varsovians dislike it; before the war, it looked "better," but I have a soft spot for modernism).

>By the way: those 4 modern high-rises on Novy Arbat were built at the same time (!) as the 3 high-rises on Marszałkowska. And they are the same height! Only the Moscow ones are thicker and, in my opinion, uglier.
>I simply don't see ANY superiority of Moscow, ESPECIALLY after 2022...
Thoughts?
I think it's interesting. For many in Russia, Moscow represents this nebulous idea of greatness, completely indisputable, but in fact it's a very real collection of particular streets and avenues, whose names I had never heard of before until this post, that when picked apart collapse the "wonderful" image on closer inspection
