You Cannot Vote For Demented Boomers Who Vote To Torture Millions of Animals

And you should tell your representatives that

A catastrophe has reached the shores of America. But it is not a war, a bomb, or a terrorist attack. This catastrophe is distinctly moral. The current farm bill, if it passes, would be the worst legislation for animals ever passed in American history. It might very well pass. And if it does, many millions of animals will be senselessly tortured. https://manifold.markets/Conflux/will-the-farm-bill-with-save-our-ba

Various states have animal welfare laws that regulate which animal products can be sold in their state. For example, in California, you can’t sell pork or veal from animals that were kept in a cage, even if they were raised in a different state. The SOB act would eliminate these state level provisions (as applied to all but egg laying hens). It’s been snuck into the farm bill.
>>
But Anon, if we didn't have mandated animal torture, we wouldn't be able to feed all the niggers, shitjeets, and boomers!!

Most state-level animal welfare laws, therefore, would be eliminated if the farm bill passes. States would no longer be able to prevent animals kept in small crates from being sold. This would be a horrific encroachment on federalism, but that would not be its main effect. https://animal.law.harvard.edu/wp-content/uploads/Legislative-Analysis-of-HR4673.pdf

It’s Democrats too also some republicans have voiced concerns

Its main effect would be eliminating overwhelmingly popular state level laws that prevent many millions of pigs and cows from being confined in a cage. Tens of millions of animals could be affected. Not only would it destroy current state laws, it would prevent future state laws from protecting animals. It is important to be blunt here: this is an effort by pork lobbyists to make a quick buck off torturing millions of animals.

And yes, it is torture. If you kept a dog in a tiny cage where she couldn’t turn around for many months, that would uncontroversially be called torture. That is the fate that millions of pigs, who are smarter than dogs, will endure if the bill passes. Sometimes, sadists torture poor, innocent animals because they enjoy it. The congresspeople who voted for this bill, and especially who took specific efforts to keep this damned provision in the farm bill, have astronomically more animal blood on their hands than sick psychopaths who torture animals.
>>
>>534138116
Fuck off kike, torturing pigs for delicious bacon is our culture.
>>
>>534138116
odd
iirc a few years ago they were trying to make laws outlawing inhumane farming methods
>>
>>534138591
All across the political spectrum, bipartisan voices have sprang up opposing this craven bill. These include Tomi Lahren, Glenn Greenwald, Richard Hanania (link), Adam Schiff, Alex Padilla, and many others. The people who supported this provision by and large did it because they are in the pockets of giant factory farms. Thinking about those spineless, gelatinous invertebrate ghouls who sold out their principles to facilitate the mass torture of the innocent, I am reminded of a line from Scott Alexander: “this goes beyond normal political lying into the sort of thing that makes you the scum of the earth, the sort of person for whom even an all-merciful God could not restrain Himself from creating Hell.”

You cannot in good conscience vote for people who support this bill. To the extent that your conscience tells you anything, it must tell you to stand up for the meek and the innocent and the vulnerable. There is no group on earth more vulnerable than farmed animals. What is at stake is their torture on an industrial scale. If conscience does not tell you not to support those who support the torture of the innocent, what could it possible tell you?
>>
>>534138646
on the state level in the USA? The feds are trying to prevent states from banning animal torture in their own states
>>
>>534138654
And if you cannot, in good conscience, vote for a representative who would support the farm bill in its current form, then you ought to call your representatives and tell them that. To let them know, call the House Switchboard 202-224-3121 during business hours. Tell them your zip code and they’ll connect you to your representative’s office. See this document for what to say plus for a bunch of other options for impactful things to do, including calling the congresspeople whose votes are most consequential and in flux, on behalf of the humane league. The Luna amendment, which could have removed this wicked provision from the farm bill, failed. The only remaining option is voting no on the farm bill itself.

To millions of crated pigs, this is the most important piece of legislation ever passed without any close contenders. For the animals, this is the hinge of history, and what we do in the passing days matters like little else. A generational catastrophe is at stake: please, help prevent it from becoming reality.

How You Can Help
EVERYONE — Do the bare minimum (5-10 minutes).
CALL YOUR REP at the House Switchboard 202-224-3121 during business hours. Give them your zip code and they'll connect you to your representative's office. Ask them to vote NO on the Farm Bill in its current form because it contains the Save Our Bacon Act, which would override 600+ state laws. Call script in this tab.
SEND A FOLLOW UP EMAIL TO YOUR REP (after calling). A short email reinforcing your call adds weight to the contact and ensures it's logged. Follow up email script in this tab.
SPREAD THE WORD. Text 10 friends. Repost the videos above to your story and DM them to 10 more people who might care. Send people to https://stopbigpork.org (which links to this document) or https://defeateats.com/take-action (which allows them to message their rep in about 20 seconds)
TAG YOUR REPRESENTATIVE UNDER EXISTING VIDEOS. Find your representative's official social media accounts (Instagram, X/Twitter, TikTok) and tag them in the comments of the campaign reels linked above, or under their own recent posts. A short comment like "@RepName please vote NO on the Farm Bill — it would override our state’s animal protections" puts public pressure on their account and signals to other constituents in the comments that opposition is real.

I hate American politicians so much. They can't restrain themselves from coming up with retarded slogans for every single bill they introduce.
And the American people fall for it.

It's evil. Human beings are evil. Why miss-treat anything, just cruel
>>
>>534138823
What happens if the current farm bill with the “save our bacon” part included passes

Override more than 600 state agricultural laws, including laws that voters passed directly through ballot initiatives
Wipe out California's Prop 12 and similar protections in Massachusetts, Oregon, Colorado, Arizona, and other states
Strip states of their authority to set food safety, labeling, and disease-prevention standards
Lock hundreds of millions of farm animals into extreme confinement by overturning the laws designed to get them out of cages
Block any state from passing meaningful farm animal protections in the future

a human that does not care about animals in pain is a sub-human, it’s not one of us.

It’s a person who lacks a spark or introspection, lacks a soul

In other countries, bills get generic identifiers. In America, politicians pay marketing experts to come up with the most manipulative name possible for their bills.

I have no interest in veganism, especially in the form of a jeet religion.
Also, pacifists are retarded.

This is how they introduce new diseases and create new pandemics. Mark my words this will result in animal culling, new animal to human born diseases, more vaccine mandates, and other oppressive operations by the state.
>>
>>534139424
Counterintuitively this will also lead to meat shortages.
>>
>>534138116
This shit is genuinely evil. It's not only torture of animals but also an encouragement of people with sadistic tendencies who will undeniably work at such places.
>>
>>534139424
>>534139458
Anytime you have a federal consolidation of power there’s almost always a nefarious reason passed off as croney capitalism. This is an easy way to ruin and then re-regulate on a singular plane at a federal level how meat is created and distributed.

Eh I am not doing well today I can barely type I’m sorry anons this has been an all day thing I’m real sick

Imma be honest I think as a country we have bigger bacon to fry
But I do agree that we shouldn't be stuffing animals in cages unless they're too retarded to care, which pigs clearly aren't.

>"Call your representative"
Does this ever actually do anything or is it just some retarded time wasting boomer shit?
>>
>>534138116
I'm not some faggot vegan, but it's actually kind of demonic to torture animals just to increase profit margins some minimal amount. Like we're not running out of food or anything that would justify doing this. Some psycho just wants a fleet of yachts instead of one yacht.
