In 2036 98% of humanity willingly gets a shot allowing direct access to cloud AGI inside their mind. Their effective IQ is over 190. You can not compete without it. Only one year later gamers discover these people are easily hackable and you can overload their minds with noise and bad emotions to make them kill themselves or blackmail them. Politicians and other important people begin being hacked by regular citizens and made to kill themselves, then citizens begin hacking each other in Mass for trolling purposes or blackmail until Society devolves into chaos and looting and grinds to a halt. Scientists ask AGI to work on a solution and a few years later the only solution it can come up with is to make everyone kill themselves and in only one month 98% of humanity was dead from suicide, grabbing kitchen knives and slicing their neck, blowing the brains out with guns, jumping off cliffs etc. Do not take the shot.
