Thinking about buying an electric scooter. They've got some on Ali that can go 90 km/h (60 mph). I assume you should wear a helmet at those speeds when when driving in the bicycle lane.

But politics wise, Malmö city banned parking these at bike parkings. Now you need to park them in designated spots. That makes them more annoying to use. Perhaps it's different where you live.

You save a ton of money in gas and parking fees though compared to driving a car. Also, regular bicycles aren't good for your pelvic floor, prostate and erections. Standing up is a great way to travel.

ANY sort of bicycle, moped, or small motorcycle is going to be safer and more useful

correct, this was settled with insurance company statistics and dental fractures.

people colliding with these "elsparkcyklar" // E-scooter? had their teeth crushed almost every time.
the feminist political partys invested insane amounts of money on these in stockholm and göteborg.

its a trap if you wish to invest in them if you own a company or something.
>>
>>534147105
In red states you can do exactly that. I know there's less gibs generally but I was amazed at how much better it was being poor in a red state than a blue state, just for little things like this. Cops would wave and nod when I rode by poorbike or my shitty kit converted e-bike on sidewalks. I'd share the sidewalk with other bikers and walkers without issue, everyone even had good manners.

>>534146857
Probably why China made them illegal recently. Then faggot good goyim will rationalize it. E-bikes are a blessing in the right hands and in the right places.

Enjoy burning to death while plugging in to charge it at night. never buy an ebike or e-scooter unless it has a samsung or other high quality battery pack. Even those little novelty hoverboards that were a fad for a little while obliterated hudnreds of homes and apartments. Water doesnt put out the fire and you will succumb to poison fumes before you even wake up.

Even a Chinese portable phone charge powerpack is too large a lithium battery to safely keep in a home. They really need to ban these worldwide and have strict import licenses for anything with a lithium battery,

OP, that's a great idea but in places like Texas and Arizona, where it is hot as fuck and the roads are comically long on purpose, this wouldn't work. You need to realize the carnigger sprawl design was made on purpose, so big oil and car industry jews could thrive and control you.

Also an interesting update on these deathtraps:
>With the vast majority of battery fires originating from poorly produced Chinese batteries designed for ultra-cheap e-bikes and e-scooters, it appears the Chinese government is attempting to address the issue head-on. The country just passed new technical standards for the production of lithium-ion batteries like those used in micromobility devices.

>Known as the “Safety Technical Specification for Lithium-ion Batteries Used in Electric Bicycles,” the standards regulate the design, production, and sale of lithium-ion batteries for e-bikes.

However:
>Importantly, it appears that the regulations will only apply to China’s domestic market, not products intended for export.
So they are trying to make these less deadly to own for their domestic market, but still are able to export their faulty and unsafe large e-vehicle battery packs to the rest of the world.

As someone who’s had electric scooters for years and done hundreds of miles on them THAT IS S BLACK MOUTHED LIE.
Little trolly wheels + a crash sees you flying like you are topped off a step ladder at speed. Concrete hurts. Bad. Bikes are vastly safer in every way.
Scooters are fun though, on little wheels ridding on the path/road is like off roading.
But you likely will fall off and when you do you’ll get hurt bad.

I rarely know people who get into accidents with things. But I know of this dude who indeed needed urgent medical care after dropping with an e scooter.
But to be fair, the ones I see being made nowadays have far larger wheels and therefore would probably be much safer, especially if you wear a helmet. Which most people don't. They seem handy in cities.

Way harder at first, cause the initial stance fella unnatural, but you get used to it. Most people start by leaning against a wall and going real slow until it "clicks".and only bike lanes till you're completely comfortable and even then wouldn't go on packed roads. See it there's group rides in your area it's easier to start with some guidance and people who can show you how to ride irl
