We are desert surfers and go to the coast as a family trip every other year and this year we went to San Diego and it was the absolute best trip.We played Mario kart before the sun came up waiting for the tide to roll in and then surf the rest of the early day, we'd go to lunch at the restaurants along the boardwalk after a quick cleanup. Then we'd roller blade up and down the sidewalk or go surfing again. We'd go for 3 weeks back then, and usually a few days in my brother or I would hookup, this SD trip I met this girl who worked at the waffle shop and just clicked. She had weed at her apartment and when I went to get some with her, she had a roomy that was recently single and I hooked my older brother up. We went out to some of the local bars, I was the only one not 21 but it wasn't ever an issue at bars since I looked older and a week in the sun helped a lot.My pops chartered a boat the end of the 1st week and we went deep sea fishing with the girls, but my bro and the roomy didn't hit it off but they had fun and she jetted once were got back to the dock. We went out again to the bar the roomy worked at, free alcohol all night, and my brother met this girl and it was like fireworks, they ended up dating and he eventually married her, it fell apart after 7 years. But, the two weeks we surfed, fished and vacationed in SD was magical.The girl I was with was this hippy chick that loved to smoke and fuck, I'm pretty sure she was a trust fund girl because her ambitions were not large, but her tits were, and I had a lot of condoms.The people were friendly, there were no political overtones, people enjoyed going out and just partying. We came to a number of beach bonfires without a single issue, no bums or niggers starting trouble. Just chill beach life, I look back on the time as a great farewell to my childhood.
