Like ww1 I see ww2 as inevitable thing, which was also unintentionally fermented by the bitterness of French leaders after ww1. Had conditions of Versailles not been so harsh, ww2 would still have happened (ussr would have still attempted invasions of neighbors for example, and even Weimar govt in germany was expansionist),but to a different degree. I think that, ultimately, hitler was destructive to europe because he failed to understand technology that was growing around him. Also, as we see, those utopian ideologies like socialism or communism require fanaticism and fanaticism is the death of adaptability which is why both communism and fascism inevitably failed.

But zionism is self defeating because it was essentially an ideology they attempted to copy from European militarism but jewish culture is exact opposite, and you see that zionism, which fundamentally has only had influence since maybe 1970s or 80s is already on sharp decline.
