Pro tip for anyone dealing with dementia or care homes: they really are going to abuse and neglect your parents. My in laws father went to one and was dead in 6 months. They didn’t want to deal with him so they kept him sedated until he died. My neighbors mother wasn’t quite so lucky. Made it about 5 months before she fell and broke her arm. The staff left her there for hours. When they eventually noticed she had already slipped into a coma from which she never awoke. Here is reality: no one cares about you other than your own family.
