I think a more likely outcome is something like a ceasefire.It's also very likely that Germany would liberalize over time. It wouldn't be as bad as modern Germany but maybe it could result in a similar outcome just slower.I think that the US would be better off especially demographically but I think that it could decline in similar ways but slower and the 2026 US in that timeline could resemble 1990s US in our timeline.
